hello everyoneI finally splurged and got everything to grow after researching for a long time and waiting for the right moment, well here it is.
I am growing inside of a 2x2x4 mylar grow tent. Hanging down off the top cross bars are 2 pulleys fed through cuts i made in the reflective hood, the pulleys then attach to a plank of wood. On that plank are 2 extension cords secured with zip-ties. one extension cord is daisy chained to the other so i would not have to take up another slot in the 1 outlet I have to utilize. As far as bulbs go, I am using 4, red spectrum 2700k lumen 42w bulbs and 4, blue spectrum 6500k lumen 32w bulbs. I do have 4 extra 2700k lumen bulbs, ready to be hooked in there in case I feel she will need more light. My plant sits inside of a 3-gallon smart pot and is planted in Fox Farms ocean forest mixed with extra perlite. I do have Fox Farms Grow Big and Tiger Bloom for when she gets bigger and sucks more nutrients out of her soil. I have a small oscillating fan inside usb connected to my laptop as i do not have a USB adapter to go into a wall outlet. This fan is not very powerful but it does the job and makes her wiggle around as well as circulating the air and heat being given off by the bulbs. I also have 2 duct fans ready to be installed for controlled airflow and a carbon filter to eventually be hooked up but i currently can not afford these so I am keeping the top vent wide open and also the side vent wide open. If the humidity levels get too high i do put a duct fan in the top to cycle out the air and get some fresh air in there. I usually leave the tent door cracked so fresh air can creep in that way. The other day i even added a makeshift co2 generator with yeast, sugar, and water to add some extra co2 to the tent. My Heavyweight fruit punch auto has been out of the soil for 8 days so far to give you guys an idea of where her growth is at and has been running at a 20-4 light cycle with an automatic timer. I hope you guys enjoy my journal and I will keep you all updated!

Hey guys! her 3rd set of leaves are coming in nicely and finally starting to get that signature cannabis leaf look. She is curling in 1 place and im not sure why but still looks healthy and lovin her space. This is Day 11 of her sprouting from soil. I am watering her about every 2-3 days with distilled purified water that i go to the store to fill up gallon jugs because our tap water is full of salts and minerals. I hope everyone is staying warm in this cold front here in the US, and stay Lucid!

Decided to update everyone on what's going on, the weather has been very cold and so I upped the heat in my house and at i think during the time that the lights come on but before im awake it gets too hot for this little girl and so I am getting heat stress induced curling. im going to make sure to keep the heat on low tonight and hopefully it won't get too hot for her. also her fourth set of fan leaves are already coming in! The heat ain't stopping this girl from growing!

Hello , it's a little late and these updates are getting shorter together as new stuff happens these pics are day 13! she is having some curling still, ithinkit's just left over from the past nights but she has new shoots popping up ALL over her, just wanted to throw some pics up of the beautiful new shoots, i might LST tomorrow im not completely sure if i should. more research is needed on how soon i can LST but yea check out the new growth. she does have a curve in her stem im a little worried about but i lowered the lights about an inch so i am crossing my fingers that will straighten her out. Stay Lucid Everyone

Hey! Lucids here, got to update my journal on this stuff. My girl is BURSTING every single day, so much to see and take note about lately, it is amazing. So for starters I decided to start LST, the curve in her stem did straighten out but now this curve is on purpose. In the pics you will see the specific node I'm trying to make the plant think it's the top. Hopefully, my first LST ever will be successful and send lots of auxins into that shoot and make it pop up.Then of course after that shoot establishes i will LST it somewhere else and either keep on doin LSTs or stop, i have not decided yet. All i used was a pin and some sewing thread for this, the smart pot was a huge help because i can secure the plant in any direction. When i was gettin down there with this girl oooooh man, she smells so good. i was very surprised i could smell this hint of cannabis so soon but it is delicious. That's all for tonight's update. Happy growin everyone!

i haven't posted in about 6 days, i feel as though i messed up on the lst and am getting a lot of anxiety worrying if i did the right things or not. yesterday i was trying to tie a stem to a certain place and accidently pinched off a fresh new growth. I am also worried if i stunted it's growth. I decided i am going to take of all my ties and just leave it for the next 10 days and see where i am at then. there are some spots on the plant that look like powdery mildew . so i will spary it with a peroxide solution every 3 days or whenever i water her. i will also be adding 1/2 the recommended dose of nutes in a couple days. i have been using low nutes but she looks like she could handle more. the side the lighter is by is the original top. i am also worried she could have become too bushy.
