Yes we all know marshydro is not the "best" led on the market but the price point makes led newbs flock to them. So I would like to start a Thread just for people hovering over the purchase button on ebay. So if you used / liked the panels show off your grow here. (PS please don't jump in this thread saying how they suck or there are better leds out there that thread has been made)

With that said I'll start with my grapefruits in week 6 of flower

I have 4 old style 300w I am comparing with a 400w cob. $100 each for the 190w mars with the glass pulled. I have a 46 inch by 40 inch area. I'm very pleased. I'm curious about the cob. Subbed for this one. I'm cheap.
 
Hey DPort I have a few questions for you that may be helpful to me and some others.
1. What size light are you using?
2. How is heat compared to HP's and other leds? What are you using to cool? Passive, a/c etc?
3. What kind of yield have you gotten previously with the light? Compared to HP's and other led lights?
4. How is trichrome production?
I'm sure the extra info will spark a little more attention to the thread. Mines as well.
 
I no this a lil off subject but I have mars 300w. N my girls r about 15 days old n due to over watering I think?, my first couple of true leaves r drooping bad n idk how to fix it? This is my first grow, n any help on how to get em to pop back up is appreciated.
 
I have been using this 1200 watt led on a lighting rail inside a 5x5 tent and my thc bombs and doing well for 3 weeks also kera seeds california nugget

a mars II 1200 i got off ebay for around 350 if i recall correctly my 3rd grow with it a few bulbs have went out 4 to be exact when i used 2 x1200 heat was an issue so i just use 1 now on a light rail i hope it works haha
 
Yea i read a few forums and even the guy at the hydro store told me an led wouldn't work on a moving rail he told me hid only worked well on moving light rails i figured it wouldnt matter to much since it is only a 5x5 tent but we will see when i flip 12/12 in a week or so
 
I am building a grow cab using a first gen mars hydro 300 and 2 cxa3070 cree cobs all hanging together from the mars light housing, there is a huge mars hydro group here on roll it up here is the link https://www.rollitup.org/t/marshydro-led-grow.839368/
many people show how to modify the mars lights, like take out the glass and install quieter fans , stuff like that,
lots of complete grow pics from seed to finish in there also, plus comparisons of mars leds to other leds, and the mars hold up rather well in many grow cabs
