Are they done yet? What does "done" look like?

Hey @RM3 , got a couple questions...
first, are they done yet?

Second, with your boiling method - one of the ideas behind this is to prevent starches and sugars / food thats stored in the roots from getting back up inside the plant right? So ideally the boiling water should be poured through the medium right before lights on, to sever the root system from the upper portion of the plant before any direct light hits the leaves - correct?

Are there any specific signs you look for, after doing the boiling method, to determine when to actually pull the plant out n hang it? I saw you mention you leave them under the lights for a couple days after 'boiling the roots' , so I'm guessing that's to use up as much of the 'food' left in the leaves as you can n kinda fade out the plant prior to drying. Just curious how you decide how long to keep them under lights before actually choppin' the plant down.
the whole point of his process is FERMENTATION. the plant is full of glucose, sugars, starches. How do you make those ferment? Cut off the oxygen they receive. So, you come to the end and you are ready to chop, You pour the water on the roots, therefore, killing them, WHALLA, no oxygen getting to roots, said sugars etc, start to ferment. So the curing starts happening after about 3 days of no o2. And you will see the plant wilt after a couple days and change color, someone mentioned earlier about it being a pain to cut them off after doing this, easy solution, cut fan leaves off over that 3 day waiting period.

The truth is that only about 1% of the folks reading my stuff will get it, it's sad but it's true.

Alright I've decided I'm spending too much time on the forum messing around n it's time to get back into learning. Any literature / books you guys would recommend, or even threads?

I have been told it takes 3 weeks :)
So it'll take me 6. LOL (I work a week on and week off, and when I work I have time only to tend the girls, eat and sleep)

Anyway, hope you don't mind me asking questions as I read?

I've been paying particular attention to defoliation in your threads at the moment because this is something that I do in veg, while I'm scrogging. I use chicken wire and I strip the girls quite bare, as shown below, because I find it easier to pull the stems back down through the wire and align bud sites evenly through the canopy. I won't do this after the first 7-10 days in flower, as I found it severely stunts growth. But in veg... it doesn't seem to slow things down too much. After reading your threads though... I wonder how much damage I'm doing? (I have 6 grows under my belt and have been averaging about .7 gpw since the 3rd, so doing not bad) Can you speak on that a little?
