holy cow 18 gal?!? Damn you must have some rooooom! Hahah lucky! I only plan to veg for another couple inches. I chose this strain because of its genetic very small stature. Im curious as to how much more she will grow once I switch to 12/12 though.. I'm thinking if the buds get too close to the lights then I will bend them sideways for more surface area =P

And I noticed my temp getting up to mid to high 80's. Erg I need to fix this.

They look hungry to you? damn I thought 80% strength on these nutes would be more than enough. Thats a bump up from 50% that I was previously using.. looks like this strain likes the nutes!
They stretch quite a bit when you flip the lights and those temps will cause you all kinds of trouble...may be part of your problem too

I did not. I remember reading that way back when you said to but I transplanted and forgot the lime =( I will for sure remember that next time. I do have some cal mag. the new growth is looking good.

Thanks so much for your help! I appreciate you so much

UPDATE!!!

Hello fellow RIUsers! Finally some new pics! =)

So I decided to tie her down and pull her branches towards the corners to fill in the gaps and get that surface area ;). Also I switched her to 12/12 a few days ago. Swapped out the 5k bulbs for the warmer ones. (2.7k if my memory serves me). This pic is a couple days old.

Top view as of yesterday. You can see how spread she is now that I tied her down ;) I'm so happy with how shes turning out. Except for the next pic...

So let me just say hello to the people of RIU!! I am new to this site, so if I make any newb mistakes, I apologize in advance haha.
I'd also like to say I love what you guys are doing on here. I ran across a couple pics of a few grow journals directing back to here and saw lots of good feedback and tips from all of you. So after I finally decided to start a small project, I was convinced that this would be the place to properly post pics and get some feedback. I have never grown anything before and I hope to do well.

I have done some research (outside of RIU), and one day said screw it, and started to buy pieces to the puzzle of this mysterious indoor growing concept. I had a small cupboard that I was using for stuff. After moving into a larger place, didnt need it anymore. So after much consideration, I decided that this "closet" would be just large enough for, what I believe to fit, just a single small-sized plant. I'll get into dimensions in a few.

I hope that you RIU'ers find it to be suitable for a grow, as I have actually officially started it haha. Fortunately, I am one to document most of my adventures/ projects. So I did actually take a few pics while I built the closet and will be posting here shortly after figuring out how to do so haha. Especially if I can do it from my phone, as all pics I take are using my phone and I dont use my home computer much, if at all.

All in all, I am scared, anxious, nervous, and excited to begin this journey, and to watch it unravel with all of you! :joint:
Hello...I'm new also, so Looking forward to it

The Good news is she is finally... well... a she. haha. First 2 pistils popped out =) =D
She filled out quite a bit and is stretching very close to the lights haha. But I have her tied down and am keeping the temp at the top of the canopy at a safe 75 - 79F with lights on. So I'm pleased with that. If she gets any taller though I'm going to need to start bending her sideways, which I was hoping on having to wait until the buds formed more. Something I read in the grow bible. Sounded like a good idea, bend sideways for more surface area for light to hit on the bud/cola. Which I desperately need due to using CFLs haha. Pics belowwwwwwwwwww

pistil one

I would bend it now...that soil looks pretty wet...have you slowed down on the watering?

I have slowed down watering, but I did feed a lot of cal mag just before taking the pics. The bottle says 1oz/gal. I've been doing 1 fluid oz/gal. Because its a fluid. I hope I'm correct in assuming that haha. Because those are awfully far apart from each other... hahaha.

I'm definitely down to bend her now. I'm not sure how I'm going to do it yet though. Hmmm

The longer you wait the harder it is...you usually shouldn't feed full strength...I haven't used cal mag in a long time but I think when I did it was 5 ml per gallon...

Because she's hungry. But overloading with CalMag will make it worse...you need psg, castings, LIME...and chill with the watering.
I chilled with the watering haha. So much so that she showed signs of dehydration. The deficiency has subsided. Oh, and I was wrong, the calmag only called for 1ml/L. She has been receiving that as well as some bloom. I switched to a different bloom nute that I found that doesnt have N in it. The NSR is good but still had N and I felt that she needed less. I may still give her some of the NSR but I wanted to chill on the N so that she could really start blooming. Obviously towards the end I will be sure to make the full switch to bloom that contains no N for that better flavorrrrr mmmmm
