got ripped off last night.. :(

someone was in my gardens last night - stole bubba kush, pineapple express, one pineapple chunk half of super skunk, and the tops of my best white widows..

i don't know what to do.. i am in a residential area.. i don't think that i can afford any kind of electronic security.. maybe i could padlock the gardens - then they would have to smash their way in... i can't tell my family for now because they would freak out and tell me to pull everything early..

darn it.. that was like half of my mothers medical harvest.. i still feel sick.. i'm not sure who to suspect.. one of my plants is a little taller than the fence in back - visible to the back street i'm afraid.. i think i will try to bend it down even if it snaps..

i hope that you can give me some advice? i have lived in a quiet neighborhood all of my life and i've never locked my front door.. but, this makes me want to maybe get some motion lights? motion cameras to see who it is? a huge machine gun?

and if its a quite place, then these people probably know you as well

make a sturdy wood fence with chain on other side and yes get an alarm ( silent or notification in house or phone) and motion sensor cameras in conjuction with flood lights

i think that they have been here earlier in the year and took some immature plants.. so, it is locals..
my yard is too big to completely fence off.. the best i can do is build a better garden fence with padlock and alarms..
i am looking at camera systems now - seems to be about $200.. maybe you can recommend some specs? i need maybe 3 - 4 cams, 1500ft range wireless..

Very sad and scary at the same time. Our garden is enclosed in live stock wire fence with one entrance and a locked door. I will wire in the roof when I switch out plastic. nothing is visible. We have two dogs,someone is always home and our patio deck slider is right above the garden And I don't sleep well. I still don't consider it safe by any means. It will slow someone down but if they put a gun to your head none of it matters. I will be getting some home protection. You my friend need to leave your window open or sleep in your garden like many a grower does. A dog helps.

I know the feeling you must have, Violated. Thieves suck. Specially when you can grow your own damn weed.

Sorry to hear that man. Fu@&$ng scum!! I have mine fenced in and locked up along with Camera's (with night vision) that I view from my phone as well as my TV. It makes me sick to my stomach to hear this.

Once again, this is all the fault of prohibition, if we were able to grow pot without fear of reprisal there would be no reason to steal it, fight over it, or kill for it. any recommendations on an exact system? i think now that i need 1 - 2 cams with some kind of computer interface, and i am not seeing the flood light activation on any so far..

Bear traps would work. You'll likely get sued but you will have the satisfaction of seeing a thieve screaming with his leg caught in a bear trap. A territorial dog is probably your best bet. I once had a Doberman that NOBODY fucked with. He would just sit and watch people with these steally eyes. You could walk in the yard but you had better not step

X10 looks ok, but has no digital interface to the computer or mobile - i like that idea since my TV is not on all the time and takes several seconds to boot up.. my pc is on 24/7..
