Husalife's 2011 Outdoor Grow.

Hello again RIU'ers, How are you people doing? My 2011 grow is coming along slowly but surely so I thought I'd get on and share a bit about my girls as they grow again this season.

Once again I have almost all Nirvana Strains growing. Thank you Nirvana for your services!
I Have:
1. White Widow Fem
2. Master Kush Fem
3. Kaya Gold Fem
4. Smiles "Clone I got from a buddy"
5. White Russian "seed from a friend"
6. Bubblicious Fem
7. Bubblicious #2 Fem
8. Northern Lights Auto Fem

I am using 5 Gallon Buckets with a Peat / Potting soil / Chicken shit enriched soil from my farm.

I water with rain water and about every 3rd watering I give them a light taste of BC Grow
& BC Boost and Pops Joy Juice.

I'm trying to stay lighter on my nutes in the water I water them with this year and see how things turn out by mainly foliar feeding.

I did screw up the first round of spraying and burn the ladies just a little but with all the rain we have had they have grown out of it well.

It's been a rainy year so far and bugs seem to be thriving but I am using a
spray called Jacks Dead Bug and it seems to be working pretty good at fighting against those
alf alfa hoppers we shall see about the bud worms a little later.

Nutes I am using During Veg this year. I plan to use Organic nutes for flower.

I Love that Blue Mystic good luck with her, I grew a Blue Mystic Auto last year that didnt Auto but man it had some good bud on it.

I have a Nirvana Auto Northern Lights Fem that just got popped up good and has her jagger leaves goin. Also I have 3 or 4 clones/clippings rooted and going from my bucket girls.

I plan to put the clones into holes and just let 'em do the damn thang the rest of the summer.

Well decided that Im not gonna update and all that shit on here anymore, to much time wasted typing for no good reason.

Dumbass posts like "can I use HOLY water on my plants" or "can i shit on my plants instead of using ferts" get post after post for no good reason

because those dumbass threads are NOTHING but a high bored kid wanting to stir in shit and everyone will jump right in on

the dumb shit.

I've been following along with ya man (for what it's worth) but yeah I agree it's a lot of work doing a grow thread, I don't blame you. Especially an outdoor. That's why I didn't even start one this year and just post random pics on my "state" grow thread as well as the east coast guerrilla growers thread. I've noticed the outdoor section goes crazy april and may when everyone is getting starting and dies down significantly til things start flowering hard later in august and september.

Yea, ill prolly add bud porn pics when its done but other than that too time consuming at the moment.

I guess it tends to let you down when a newbs non-sense ass questions take over the boards and get comment

after comment it seems. I Love reading peoples grows to see what they do different or what I can learn from them

I feel ya man. It's the same nonsense every day here anymore. I'm getting a little tired of the nonsense threads. People arguing over and over about miracle grow or why the nutes they use are the "best." Or people asking the same noob questions 10 times a day when they easily could have used the search function. I think my favorite ones are when ppl buy a pack of seeds, kill them all, then start a "X breeder and Y seedbank ripped me off," lol. Nothing wrong with being a noob, but I see people who grew one plant in their mom's basement and are suddenly experts giving out horrible advice. I've checked out a few other forums, but some of them are at the other end of the spectrum. Unless you have a 10000w medical grow or a 50 plant outdoor plantation and haven't been growing for 20 years then you know nothing. Most of the other forums aren't as active as RIU either. That's why I stay here. It's a good balance. Honestly, I think RIU should close it's membership for a little while and maybe even do a bit of "housekeeping." Delete some of the inactive accounts and remove some of the disruptive members.

But yeah man, my grow is pretty small this year. 6 plants total. Three big ones and three small ones. I've just been using the PA Growers thread to post pics for the time being and used the Autoflower thread for my autos that I did earlier in the summer.

I have my first small hydro project going at the moment with a White Russian Clone. Ive always liked Ebb n Flo so thats what my attempt

was at and so far soo good, growing like hell knock on wood.

I guess I should just withdraw my above comments and just keep things rolling the way they are

because I know Ill be mad as hell next year when I wanna look back and ref something and cant cause I got LAZY.

There are a lot of people like me who may not post much, but apreciate the work that goes into documenting grows and answering questions. Just looking at the pictures is fun.

I'm also sure that there are a ton of people who never post at all that apreciate it too. They will all agree by not posting...

Better to keep one's mouth shut and be thought the fool, than open it and confirm it.

I too am like you in a way and will either sit back and listen and learn or just

say fuck it and go ahead and do it and see what happens lol.


Anyhow to the Grow.....

All my girls are doing wonderful and getting nice and thick.

Most of them have started to flower at this point. I will get out there with

my camera maybe today and get some new pics.

I have set my grow tent up inside beside my bed and have a few little projects going

in there like a DIY Ebb & Flow with a clone from my White Russian, my Kaya Gold is in there and

into full flower. I also have a tiny Lemon Skunk clone from a buddy in there in a dixie cup for now but not sure if its gonna make it.

I found an old bag of seeds in my freezer that my dad had put in there years ago that are labeled Skunk!!! So I dropped

one of them in water in a shot glass a few days ago and now its up growing like a champ in a small pot. Was excited to find

a present like that from my Pops. He loved to grow and did my entire life and now I get to play with one of his old strains.

If it is a girl and buds I cant wait to go just chill at his grave site and show him what I did with one of his beans.

ALSO I have a Strawberry Cough seed and a Blueberry seed dropped in water and will plant them when I see a root pop.

All these seeds will be on 12/12 from planting because I am flowering my Kaya out in the tent.

Lotta projects going phew. sorry for the book.
