This is my 2nd outdoor grow but have been an apprentice of sorts for years on various guerilla grows. Im not going to get real specific at all but this is what we do, get your doobs rolled tight and enjoy:bigjoint:

Ok so here is the list of strains we are working with this season. When i say we I'm refering to me and my crew. We are all jungle ninjas hahaha. We work as a team and we dont play nice with rippers so if thats you youve been warned.

Ok on to the menu:

Texada Timewarp pheno's 1 2 & 3 XALOT!!!!!
The Original Romulan "Romulan Joe" X6
Cali O X1
Grape Ape X16
Herijuana X3
Heri X Blue Diesel X4
Maui Skunk X1
Chemdawg Bio Diesel X1
Morning glory X1
Hash Berry X3
Cheese Berry Haze X6
Trainwreck X1
Lemon Kush X1

The Timewarp has been bread out for awhile indoors and narrowed down to 3 distinct phenotypes. I have not grown this particular set of TW outdoors yet to date but have worked quite a bit with an elder grower on his plots on an older cut of the original 100% pure TW cut. This version we are working with is said to be 98% that of the original mother and so far i got to say, Indoor this strain sucks balls for yeild. It is an outdoor variety and is not recommended for indoor, but out of 2 plants i have got about a quarter pound of it that's been chilling in cure for 4 months and the aromas are really starting to come around. Armpits and lemons is the essence of the TW . Hoping to see that funk multiply heavily on them outdoor ladies.

The Grape Ape is also a prized pheno from the indoor. It is a good yielder and me loves dem purple buds mmmm. However my pheno didn't purple out indoors, mostly because i had to chop a lil early due to a spider mite infestation. She could have gone a good week longer but still provided a generous amount of bud. We have several clones rocking from that bad momma.

As for the rest they are fem'd seed so we shall be watching to see. But for the greater majority of this outdoor season there will hoards of Texada Timewarp not going to get into the numbers there but you'll get to see the cream of the crop.

Next ill lay out the spot :peace:

This year weve managed to land some really awesome spots to grow. Gods country ahhhhh this patch is the most pristine land ive seen in recent memory. I cant recall the last time i was scouting and didnt see some sort of trash laying around. In fact ive got quite a collection of old bottles and beer cans from my many hikes in the bush.

People im telling you this is the best way to figure out how long a potential spot has been in solitude. The trash.

Now back to gods country, man this place is just awesome. Its a nice green valley that is bordered by fellow hippy folk friends approx 100 acres of prime sw exposure and them ladies are going to get to soak all of them rays up. Yup putting them all in direct sun this year and i cant wait to see how massive they will get.

The soil is a mix over the valley floor. For the most part it is a nice loam and other area are quite sandy. We will be amending the soil in each area for optimal growth.

Water

When i said this place is the shit i meant it. The water here is all natural spring water and just as pure as the driven snow. I drink right out of the stream when i get thirsty and it is just some delicious water if there is such a thing hahaha.

To make things even better there are lots of little spring flows and a few are smack on a few patches. We made a nice dunk hole to dunk 5 gallon buckets in them to water the ladies. So far so good. Im told these springs flow constantly despite of hot dry weather and that is music to me ears. However if they do dry up we have easy access to a stored quantity of the same water so bring it on :blsmoke:

We have been planting now for a few weeks when we have time. To date we have 3/4 of this patch on full. Another 20 going in this weekend. And that is all for this particular spot. There is room for more but there will soon be cattle in this spot and im a bit nervous about that but it is what it is. Ive taken precautions to prevent them from getting near the patches by making natural barriers of thorns and dead fall. This valley floor is full of gnarly thorn bushes and weve used them to our advantage. However we do have a few holes that are not totally secure on all sides but im betting on my ace in the hole idea that i came up with the other day. Ill explain that in my next post.

Next up the planting.

We tried to get em out early this year but the weather just hasn't been on our side.. Most of the yins have been chillin in a harden off area trying to keep them ladies from wanting to flower out after the shock from the grow room transfer to the outdoor. So far this batch of clones has weathered fairly well. They have been wet for many weeks on end and for that reason the root system has had no ambition to get macking. The leaves are droopy they just need some sun for crying out loud.

The yins have responded to the cold and wet weather with a stunted start but a hard main stalk which is a good sign these bitches are ready for the toughest of weather this season can throw at em. A real hardy plant is what mother nature has trained these gals to be and we are going to see it come mid October.

Finally the good weather is upon us and we have gotten to work planting the thriving lot of clones from the harden off area. The temps have been rather warm all of the sudden and them plants are confused at wtf is going on but none the less they are digging in. Weve prepared 3' x 3' holes with composted manure in the bottom and blended manure in with the fill soil. To that weve added slow release scotts 12-12-12 and top dressed with horse shit composted of course. Ive also added systemic granules at the advice of a horticulturist to ward off the pests. This dose is only for the veg period and i will no longer use it come late july. Weve also used a single drink of superthrive mixed with spring water for the initial watering after planting to help get them roots mackin!!!

Now the ace in the hole. Deer have always been my arch enemy and i think ive finally figured out how to discombobulate them mother fuckers hahaha. My idea this year was to use a 4ft bamboo stakes. When planting the rooted clones from 4" pots we shoved a 4ft bamboo rod stake through the root ball as close to the main stalk as possible and secured them in place with a bread tie. weve pushed the stakes all the way down into the hole leaving only the top 16" exposed. This has been the single most effective method of planting and keeping them in than ive ever seen, read of ect and it was a simple idea that i cam up with stoned in the bush hahaha.

How well does it work? Well ive tried every trick in the book and nothing has worked as well as these bamboo stakes. A larger diameter hole filled with looses organic.' amended soil and that bamboo stake smack in the middle the deer step in to inspect the hole and sink in a few so fast to the point we pulled clumps of deer fur off of the stakes supporting the clones chillin at just 8" tall. A nice safe sanctuary for the lil ladies under the sharp rigid bamboo rod.

So now after 1 week weve only lost one plant from the deer. He stepped slap on the root ball at the base of the bamboo stake and pulled the roots out which was easily re-planted. i think it was the Chem Bio and it dont look good but she may recover.

Next ill give the run down on the dirty bottom patch. Its a wash of corn raised soil but does produce some kill. Just not liking the farmers pesticide shit they spray so ive got theses ladies who are destined for this patch chilling in 5 gallon buckets about 30=40 of em. Going to wait till they get 3ft or so before planting them in this patch ad the cover is nill at the moment. And high vegetation is a must before planting in this spot.

I do have a bad ass camera unfortunately i dont have any pics tonight to show off other than a few of my last years diggs..

Ill be out all weekend wondering with mary. Ill be sure and bring along the cam. Until then :peace: and Love people. A2L

Alright im about in a coma of og smoke hahaha. I think ive covered this patch. I have 3 others aswell. Ill get into those tommorow. Going to be a busy sob here for the next few weeks getting the other spots full up. pics to come real soon. :peace: out A2L

After some heavy thought I've decided to add a whole fish per hole. Ive tried this in my yard before after cleaning fish and chucking the heads in a hole and burying them. The grass that grew over the hole grew outrageously fast and green. Sos going to give it a go on the plants. A few other growers swear by it and I'm inclined to believe its true.

Off to the fishing hole :) peace A2L

Dude, this grow sounds legit for sure, and I'm eager to see some pics. But are you gonna put a cage around the plants at all? I read about your deer protection, sound pretty innovative...Nice stoned inspiration...lol...But if you're gonna throw a whole fish in every hole, are you worried that you might get raccoons or foxes diging up the holes to get to the fish? I've heard of guerilla growers having probles with animals diggin up plants just because they mixed bone/blood meal in the soil...Anyway, this should be a fun one to follow...A lot of work, for sure, but it's good that you have partners you trust and I hope all that hard work pays off in the end!!

Yeah im a collector of fine beans and have been fortunate to know some super cool peeps. They are all legit strains just some new school genetics, is what im seeing these days. With the exception of the TW which has been a staple in the BC scene for years. I guess the same can be said for the Romulan Joe's, Not many beans left in existence so im told. Im hoping for a real fine lady to hold onto for awhile from them beans. I love them Canadian strains for some reason haha.

And Yeah buddy the Armpits & lemons hahah or if you prefer a big ole sweat hogs muff hahaha same differance

And who the fuck says stoners are lazy do-nothings!?
Massive undertaking!
And way cool

Actually Meta i got skunked fishing today in more ways than one  my fishing hole got a heavy down poor soon as a mofo got there after a 1/2 mile hike puh huh. Only to walk all the way back to the truck in driving big drop rains. I didnt mind im sure the ladies where loving it. :bigjoint:

As for the cages i cant get away with it where im at. I have permission to do my thang but i gotta stay as discreet as possible. Otherwise i would put up enclosed cages for sure. Im developing a new stake that will be not for sale but for free to all. Its a stake designed to repel critters and i will only share the idea for the sake of gods people & ganja. Not for sale ;)

Stoned giggly i am :peace:

Well heading out to plant today. I can already feel my legs and arms aching. Ive got to carry in 30 more bags of composted shit and 10 bags of soil. Its a good 1/2 mile hike and I'm not looking forward to it ugghh. Up and down all day long its gonna be a bitch. I'm gonna sneak along my camera ill try to get some pics when the boys ain't around. My partners would think it strange of me to photograph our patch. They just don't know how cool it is to share the adventure with fellow riuer's :) Well see if i can pull it off haha. :peace: out

Looking for forward to watching this progress. Keep in mind that if you toss a fish in every hole, you will very likely have more issues with upturned holes and dead plants unless you get out there quick enough. I just had some coons dig up a few plants simply because I mixed in blood and bone meal. Good luck and post them pics soon !

Morning peeps, I am one sore son of a biscuit reporting in this fine Sunday. Got to take care of head real quick bongsmiliebongsmilie:eyesmoke::bigjoint:

Much better hahaha. Alright so me and my crew descended on the patch early yesterday to plant the remainder of the clones that will be the last to go in here. Its was an utter mud hole from all the rain weve got in the last few days. Even with 4 wheel drive it was a bit sketchy just getting to the hiking point.

On the first 2 planting sessions i used my quad to get the gear down to the valley floor but with it being a slippery mess that was not an option this time. My quad is also a loud mother fucker as its built up for MX racing and with as many yins in the ground as we have making all that noise for another 27 is not very wise. Don't need to be drawing unwanted attention to our area.

But for shits and giggles here's a pic of my baby hehe.

She gets the job done but a 4x4 would work much better for hauling gear.

So to this point we had stock piled all the bags of manure and soil at the tip top of the hiking point, which is still a good 1/2 mile or better from the patch and the terrain is rough and challenging. I brought along a wheelbarrow to help speed things up as we still had a half pallet of manure and soil to haul in.

My god what a job that was. Fortunately one of my partners is a ninja with a wheelbarrow from all his years in the concrete trade. Lol I wish i had a video haha, it was so hilarious watching him run behind the wheelbarrow stacked full of shit down a rocky hillside spilling over and tumbling a few times doing cartwheels down the hill hahahaha. Needless to say we all took turns with the wheelbarrow and all 3 of us got our asses whooped by it.

We decided to break up the grunt work, the worst part of the poop haul was coming down the rock hillside which is no small hill. From there to the mid point of the valley and from there to the patch. It took us about 3-4 hours just to get all the poop to the pre-dug holes.

We have the holes spread out in an effort to make things look as natural as possible. Most of what we already planted 40 or so plants are in the wide open direct sunlight which is the way to go if you can get away with it. Me and my boys have full permission to plant ganj in this valley from the land owner and he didnt seem to mind that we put them out in the open. However to many like that can be a recipe for disaster should the pork choppers fly over. So what we did is made mini patches of 10 plants per spot and in no pattern spaced them out over a wide Area.

For these last 2 mini patches we went for a bit of cover from some standing dead trees and totally barricaded them in with dead fall and thorn bushes.
IMG_1412.jpg
Not all the mini patches are this well protected yet. Most have natural barriers already in place which im hoping will keep out the cattle that are going in here in the next few weeks. This particular mini patch is almost impossible for the deer to get into and so far i haven't seen a single hoof print in here.

Deer are really no longer a concern though since discovering my stake trick.
IMG_1416.jpg
Very simple and very effective. Out of 66 hole weve lost only 1 and sadly it was my only Chemdawg Bio Diesel :( was really looking forward seeing that one grow out. ??? But it may have been the Trainwreck ??? I cant recall but its one of the 2.

Anyways these 4ft garden stakes are the key to keeping the plants in the ground. I may have explained the procedure already on here but what i do is shove the stake through the root ball as close to the stalk as possible and secure the clone to the stake with a bread tie. My hole are also wide and most of the animals that step into one back off when they get into the soft dirt.

So my batteries went dead on me after only a few pics. Here is what we are planting in these 2 mini patches within the mega patch.

In here we have some Timewarp Pheno's 2,3, Which is the small and medium phenotype VS the TW Bertha that is the big momma with the large colas. And the remaining are all Grape Ape.

Be right back!!!!!
