2011 Outdoor Tree of Life Throwdown

Rules are simple: Biggest&baddest single plant wins. Sunlight&soil grown, No strain or plant count restrictions, no feeding restrictions. Must start with seed or a plant under 1ft max. .. A few subcatagory winners regarless of size (by vote) will be chosen also.1. Best looking (trimmed or trained) 2. ugliest 3. best noob plant 4.most innovative ..... Good luck everyone,,, let the grow and the friendly smack talk begin...

This throwdown was a spawnoff from a 'scroggoff" journal that was started and completed.. Legalyflying was the obvious winner, due to my chicken wire scrog..lol... everyone please enjoy, but keep it friendly please... trolls willnot be tolerated... but will be thrashed accourdingly... let the games begin,,, lets see some garden pics!!!

I think I'm throwing another one in the ground this year, this could be interesting.

this is gonna be fun, all the smack talk from the scrog off was awesome to watch develope so this should be nice aswell,,, im goin for the most innovative/best trained look out

The biggest one last year was a blue Cheese. I got 2.7 lbs off of her. Did nothing but LST.



I wasn't planning on growing plants that large this year, gonna top and use a screen but if that's all good then I'm in.

I like the idea. Usually post on GC, but was just cruisen around on here and found this. I'll do my best and post my final product.
My only criticism is that it should be from just seed, that way people can't get a 1ft head start, either way this wont be the last of me.

like frog said there will prolly be different catagorys, but nothing over 1ft from the planting outdoors

I'm in but barely I don't think ill be able to get anywhere near that hight.....crazy

I put seed or one ft to help out those that have a harder time growing from seed , or those that get clones easier than seed... by all means, if you want grow your seed inddors and at one ft transpant... so experianced growers , our first question!, if you veg 18hrs a day indoors until it gets one ft, I assume switching/transplanting to outdoor sun will be ok? We have 20 degree weather coming up so, no outdoor planting for me yet... im shooting for the biggest baddest plant... I want a plant that requires a chainsaw,,, im all about the roots this early in the game... my downfall last grow off.

I'm in to see this one.
