Rules are simple: Biggest&baddest single plant wins. Sunlight&soil grown, No strain or plant count restrictions, no feeding restrictions. Must start with seed or a plant under 1ft max. .. A few subcatagory winners regarless of size (by vote) will be chosen also.1. Best looking (trimmed or trained) 2. ugliest 3. best noob plant 4.most innovative ..... Good luck everyone,,, let the grow and the friendly smack talk begin...
"biggest and baddest" mean height or weight?
When does the comp end?

That pic was an 8 foot ladder and the plant was taller.
Unbelievable!

Me too, last year I went out 1'st of May and had a couple start to flower early.
I got this little app now that will tell you how much daylight you get any given day. Might help out, Daylight Explorer

it's impossible by weight IMO because you can't be sure if someone is telling the whole truth. But i believe without a doubt that those plants are 12 ft tall and probably more around in that carport haha. Just my opinion but it's good to get some basics set up early. Also I think there should be a best guerilla plant, what do you think? Let the games begin!!!

I put seed or one ft to help out those that have a harder time growing from seed , or those that get clones easier than seed... by all means, if you want grow your seed inddors and at one ft transpant... so experianced growers , our first question!, if you veg 18hrs a day indoors until it gets one ft, I assume switching/transplanting to outdoor sun will be ok? We have 20 degree weather coming up so, no outdoor planting for me yet... im shooting for the biggest baddest plant... I want a plant that requires a chainsaw,,, im all about the roots this early in the game... my downfall last grow off.
Sure Frogster, you run your lights at 18/6 then when you have more than 14 hours daylight you take your clone outside in the sun for an hour or so then back in the cab, You extend the next session for 3 or 4 hours then the whole day. Its called hardening off the clone.

If you have several you can just shade them for the first couple days.

You can use that Daylight explorer I posted to find your daylight hours in your area.

Top winners in weight , size, and appearance will recieve one of my new lights... availability by that time I hope....Im going to cheat like a MOFO,,lol,, just wait and see,, I have a few tricks that keep within the guidlines... but damn,, who would have thunk... there will be a few catagories,,, but I assume the biggest and baddest would be most weight pulled,, and another winner for largest tree.. Also a winner for largest stalk... and most spidermites may go to cruiser,,,lol ...

Cool, looks like plenty of contestants, and im sure more will be here soon as pics start coming ... seems like everyone is out a month/less on putting in dirt,,, lets get those seeds cracked or those clones growing so everyone can plant at a foot. thx cruzer for the info, your experience in dirt and sun ia appreciated on this thread. I will start a few pants indoor (hydro) and transplant them. Im all about the roots right now... Now i just need to determine a few optimum strains for my climate (colorado, 5000ft)...

i have an idea for another category................ there should be a Canadian category..... since our seasons not as long as u southern folk so its kind of an unfair advantage that u get an early and longer finishing time. anyone else agree

but ill throw a couple my bitties into this competition
