looks like a nice ganja plant :) :)

they look great, i would start triming all the small branches so it will give your big branches more energy, creat air flow, and prevent mold. but other than that they look great. keep me updated.

No bug spray and i was going to ask about cutting some smaller branches. Like what ones do you suggest i cut? I just watered her today with a gallon of water and a table spoon of this blue miracle grow powder : )

cant wait till she flowers and i get my hands on some super bloom! Keep the comments coming everyone this is my first grow!!

ok stop with miracle grow(i can tell now. it makes small buds, small leafs, and lanky not bushy plants) use fox farm or earth juice. cut the small short branches that wont produce alot their mostly around the bottom of the plant. its a must to get bug spray, it will be your best investment because bugs come every year and they will mess up your buds or even kill them also it will help prevent mold if you use neem oil or organicide. i use organicide i think its more organic and healthyer to your plants

Agreed i called a hydro shop and i told him i was looking for fish emulsion and he said thats good stuff. I called back saying i cant find the bottle and that i found some blue miracale grow powder in the garage, He started laughing.

He said there is much better stuff like organic stuff. So i will be trying to get my hands on some no doubt. what stage is my plant right now? veg or flowering? also when do i add the bloom stuff or earth juice?

I have no clue how to use bug spray haha. newb here!

thanks everyone great site!

i would stop with grow nutes and start with flowering nutes(earth juice bud/flower). august is when the buds really start showing so you want to start getting them ready about now. also you can look up organicide online and find out, but its real simple you mix i think either 2 or 4 oz of orgaicide into a gallon of water the directions will tell you then you put a little dish soap in also to help disolve the oils into the water then fine any type of sprayer fill it up with the solution then spray under the leaf were the spiter mites thrive, dont be shy you have to drench them once a week untill the buds start developing alot then you stop so your buds dont smell nasty. trust me if you dont use bug spray like organicide you'll regret it.

Depends on where you are in socal, inland empire is still rockin 15.5-16 hours of daylight till mid september. If i swapped to flowering nutes right now I'd have some giant plants without any fan leaves by the time it actually comes around =p

http://www.usno.navy.mil/USNO/astronomical-applications/data-services/rs-one-year-us

That's a good site for finding your daylight schedule, dont forget to add an hour for civil twilight.

i still have more cleaning to do of the lower branches inside of my outdoor giant. here's what she looks like from the inside.View attachment 1067015

but she's just switched over to flowering finally. it's been a long transition but clearing out the inside is a must. i just don't know how i'm going to spray this thing. i need to get a bottle of spray attached to my hose since she's about 8'6" today!!

omg wow is all i can say. I never done this before guys so what brances do i cut? Everything from the bottom is actually big branches and they goo wayyy up and then small branches on them. I imagine when it starts to flower during this month i will get some earth juce or fox farms for flowerng nutes?

if youre looking for fish emulsion and organicide you can get it at home depot or orchard supply. the plants good and healthy. imo opinion you dont need to trim off branches just do some flagging ( thinning of some of the inside leaves) for better light penetration and air flow. you definantly want to stop with miracle grow cause its a shitty fert. as for a your plants theyre in veg. when they start to flower you will notice either white pistils (hairs) or little banana sacks (signs of a male)forming.

Today i go over there to take a look at them and the ladys back yard i am using well she went out there and tryed to put a sheet on top of like half of it for shade i took it off and some of the leaves and flower things were kinda bent.

I took off the sheet and hood it, and called her a few minutes ago and told her not to do that. she is pretty weird so i will have to tell her in person how important this is and we need to work together on it.

right? Like not keep it it covered.

yeah dont cover it, its so big now it will do fine in the sun, keep it watered good and feed it with the products people are suggesting, cant wait to see how she turns out

I know right? Man what am I going to tell her? Shes nuts and says the spirits tell her to do things. She is a old hippy that took those days to serious and to long haha.

I am going to explain to her that we need to work together on this since i might put money into it and stuff. And lots of my time. So i got to tell her not keep it covered! Dam! She dont know what she is doing

yea covering it with a sheet is space cadet status. if some branches got bent its no big deal cuz the plant will bounce back in no time.
