Anyone have any ideas? I was thinking of using a car battery and a solar car battery charger to recharge it. Maybe a small pump on a timer. But how would I hook up the battery to the pump?
12 v on demand water pump like for rv's then use normal faucet hose timer to whatever piping is needed the bigger the feed lines the less your pump will run and your battery should last quite a while. Google on demand water pump and irrigation timer and get creative. There are really lots of ways to do it.

All you need is some sort of a stream or running water source so you can get pressure through the hose hooked up to the timer. You also could probably do it through a gravity fed rain collection container.
