Thank you for all of the compliments.
Here's a little update from the greenhouse.

Some of these Kush Ladies are 3 weeks behind the others.

Even the tall Sativa in the corner is filling-in.

The Magic is happening!:blsmoke:

Hey Dbl JJs, how are they in this heat? Sure do like your set-up, lots of potential...:peace:
Thank you, I hope so. Although I anticipated the heat, (thus the "roll-it-up" side walls), the heat has not been an issue this this year. I believe, because the ends are only mess, all the way to the top, the heat easley escapes. There really is lots of ventilation thru there.

But, I feel I have recently experienced 2 of the best reasons for building the greenhouse.

The first was the recent rain. My girls are nice & dry.

The second is, I have not sprayed anything on my plants, & I have yet (knock, knock) to find a worm!

If I don't loose any ounce's to worms, this greenhouse will have paid for itself.

Other than 1 night in Bangkok, this could be the best $300 I ever spent!

Peace
jj

 I'm loving the new carport/greenhouse trend this summer at RIU. Yours though DbJ is my favorite. Between the roll up sides and the mesh doors it's perfect. You can count on me making one when I'm able. Sadly It won't let me add more rep at the moment.

Thank you my friend, but no reps needed.

I don't post here for the 'reps'. I do it out of camaraderie for the fraternity. The Brotherhood,er......and Sisterhood, that we all are members of.

I did put a little thought into the greenhouse before I started, I guess it shows.

If there are any questions that you have when you go to build your greenhouse, just ask. It really is as easy as it looks. You can build one in a day.

Thanks for following along, & commenting. I love to know what other people think.

I'll tell ya I wish I had put mine in a greenhouse and I may next year. That would keep the pests out and the goodness in. Great looking plants DBLJJ. Fat colas abound!:bigjoint:

Thank you Wonder, I really enjoy grow'n this stuff.

I just try to provide a livable habitat and then stay out of the way. Mother Nature & her sister Maryjane know what to do!

It seems, the less I mess with them, the better they do.

You should, these greenhouses are cheap & easy.

I actually haven't mentioned what I feel is the best feature. Stealth!

This thing doesn't 'look' like a greenhouse. You would walk right past it and never take another look. From a distance the plastic looks like white awning material. It looks like a shed or carport, not a greenhouse. Most others look like a greenhouse, this one does not! I feel this may be it's best overall feature.

In Northern Cali, greenhouse's scream attention! This doesn't.

Yes, it has done an excellent job of keeping the pests out, of all types!

I'm thinking about a greenhouse. Is that plastic on the roof portion? If I build one will I need screen on top or plastic? Your setup looks like the way to go! Your Plants look really nice!

Thank you.

The top and side walls are 6mil plastic sheeting.

The gable ends are sun screen mesh.

You could go either way, depending on what you prefer.

I can roll up the side walls for more ventilation.

I plan to cover the mesh ends with plastic this winter.

Good luck with yours.

I used to live at 47.5 lat. back when I worked at Boeing in Seattle.;-)

That's probably a big part of why my place is easier to keep clean, no mud!

I moved down to Northen Cali to grow weed. I'm at 38.5 lat. Outside humidity here is 14% right now!

Peace
jj
P.S. Good luck with your grow. Now I know why you need a greenhouse.

you are so lucky i am fighting to maintain below 70. man i cant wait to rock the church next year 100% mold resistant i wont even need a green house i can just stick em where ever. if i wasnt an heir to a big business i would move to cali id move a little closer to 36 deg and a little to the right, right where its hot and then build a green house. well more like a whole arboretum. but you know nothing can touch the grow enviornment of the pac nw summers just gotta find the right strain.
