Just looking for some tips on my first outdoor grow. I'm in the northwest. The largest one (about 5/1/2 ft tall) was in the ground first and the others a few weeks later as I got them. I got these from someone that started them indoors. They are clones. I used Roots Organics Soil with liquid karma and Pure Blend Pro Grow (for veg) up until now. I just started adding a little Pure Blend Pro Soil for bloom with the others before just using karma and soil bloom. Should I Start using the Cal/Mag or Sweet from Botanicare?? Ive herd they are the best so thats what I used so far. Also I water every other day Let me know what you think any advise would be great!!! That is poison oak all around them

u can use the cal-mag now. you dont really want to start using the sweet till bout the last week of veg right when they start flowering

TIP ON CAL-MAG AS TOLD BY THE GUY AT MY LOCAL GROW SHOP DONT MIX THE CAL-MAG WITH ANY OTHER NUTES MIX ALL UR NUTES AND POUR THEM IN OR WHATEVER BUT WHEN YOU DO THE CAL-MAG DO IT SEPERATE IF YOU MIX IT WITH YOUR OTHER NUTES IT COMBINES WITH YOUR STUFF AND CREATES ITS OWN CHEMICAL THAT IS NO LONGER CAL-MAG OR WORK THE WAY THE CAL MAG IS SUPPOSE TO JUST MIX IT SEPERATE FOR GOOD RESULTS

yea you can mix all of them together just when you do the calmag do it by its self. if you mix your nutes in a 5 gal bucket you will have to mix the cal-mag in a seperate bucket you can mix it with anything bye its self only

Here is an update on pics. I havn't used cal/mag or sweet yet but these are looking good. I'll take my good camera next time this is just my phone pics. I'm so tempted to use some sweet and cal/mag. They are growing so fast. I'm over 6 ft and they are catching up fast!! Any thoughts???

Hey Wingman, thats a very nice start you have going on. God I envy all the space you have, i'm on a patio grow & so badly crowded it's almost a crime! lol I'm not into the "exotic" nutes, I use generic Miracle Grow for growth & Schultz Bloom Plus (5-30-5) for flower. I've included a couple of pix,
Good luck & good grow.........BBbongsmilie

Those look nice man. Yeah all the space is nice but you can water right on your deck I have to take 6 or 7 gallons every other day up a mountain. It hasn't rained here but a couple times all summer. I'm getting in great shape though lol. Next year I wont mess around. This is my first grow. I will have huge holes with lots of good organic soil ready to go in march or April and start them indoors for a couple months before taking them out side. How tall are those 7 ft or so??

Actually some of them are 12 feet and pushing through the roof! The greenhouse grade polymer roof is 12' & slopes down to 11 1/2'. Yes, I am seriously buried here. (and lovin every minute of it) lol.
Good luck & good grow.......BBbongsmilie

start using the sweet the first signs of flowering. but remember what i told you about the cal-mag and mixing them all seperate or there pretty much useless. also i reccomend using some bulb food bye peace of mind its a 3-8-8 n-p-k and is really good just sprinkle a little around the base of ur plants and just water in the soil i got some a few days ago and put it on the one thats outside flowering and i could tell a difference today.

Its been nice and hot for weeks and the girls are loving it. I can believe how much bigger they are every time I water them. They are starting to show some hairs and they STINK! Let me know what you think. Here are some pics enjoy

Sweet grow bro!!

You in Oregon by chance?

I did a an outdoor grow in Oregon that was completely surrounded by poison oak; caught that shit BAD in the springtime before they were really showin leaves. Fuckin shit sucks ass!!! Especially when you have it on your ass!! Hahaha

Keep up the good work!!

Can't give you advice on the additives cause I haven't used 'em.

:peace:

Yeah i'm in Oregon. I got poison oak a couple times early in the grow. It sucks i got all over my legs and some on my arm. Keeps any unwanted people from snooping around the area though

Here are some pic's from this morning. I'm really happy with what I have for my first grow. We are getting down to the home stretch!! My largest is really starting to show some nice flowers with white hairs all over them. Its been sunny low 80's to high 70's every day for a long time and doesn't look like its going to stop anytime soon. They are loving it!
