how many gallons for 6 plants in the corn

the soil is getting kinda dry and i need them to catch up with the corn whats a good amount of water for ea plant

1 gallon per plant? thats 6 gallons a trip, a gallon of water weights aobut 8 pounds, thats a 48 pound load..

I have 25 gallon holes per plant and i water 5 gallons a piece. At least 2.
