ya i mabe my own one for big 125 flour light, just got some thin sheet metal and shaped it, and made a side part for ballast and it worked very well.. its gone now though cause im flowering my last plants in this house now.......

its a good idea saves the cash :joint:

excellent idea i had that same light and the reflector that came with it sucked ti was very hard to hang good job +rep for creativity

can we see pictures of it? :) now im using 2 20w CFL's, i couldnt find anywhere 70w or stronger CFL's.. will search tomorrow. anyway if i wont find it i will buy 40w's which i saw in one place..

thanks man! it was really easy to make it.

later i will add my blue LEDs, I truly believe they help plants to grow faster.

damn dood good idea. your plants look like they are streching though  not bushy at all
dude, i grew them for 21 days with single 5w LED :)) you can see my video at youtube, search for "LEDGrower".. later added more 10mm diodes and now I made this. Later i will add all my leds to this light ;)

like i said before to you i believe LED's in my opinion suck CFL/FloTubes way better for veg then if you can afford it HPS to flower with.

you can also buy your own reflector for 5$ from any hardware store it looks like this

i was thinking to buy reflector like u have, but i wanted reflector with 2 light bulbs and my bulbs horizontally :)

i think 50w LEDs is better thank 50w CFL. my LED lamps hols about ~30w.

its individually :) maybe im wrong, its just what i think.

caliboy, i were growing with blue leds only at start, thats why theyre streached, please look at this video

anyway, cant wait for my 2nd grow, so nobody would tell me "keep your lights closer to plants they are getting stretchy", but thanks for advice, though :)

theyre streached as fuck and i hate that, but only because of that i wont kill my work of the month,, whell, u know ;)

that aluminum foil is a bad idea....it will refract the light poorly and create hot spots...the flat white paint that the reflector is already painted with will give you better reflection than the foil......if you must but a shiny reflective material use aluminum sheets not foil to create your reflector.....

yes, from cardboard, you can see all pictures here ;)

you arent the first one whos telling me about those hot spots... i will think what could i use instead of foil....

that thing is a fire hazard.......you dont want to bury your sockets in cardboard and then wrap it in tinfoil.....you trying to burn your house down....

dude, theres nothing hazard.the sockets is safe, theyre unsociable .. the wires is compleatly inside the plastic. thin foil doesnt have any contact with lights
