Hi can somebody please help me!
Its my first time growing and iv been trying to find the answer to my problems for a while but nobody seems to be helping, Your suppose to stop feeding your plants nutrients 2 weeks before you harvest right? and also harvest them wen 75% of the white hairs turn brown, but the problem i have is,wen do i stop feeding them nutrients?how long does it take for the hairs to turn brown?iv noticed a hair on one of my plants has turned brown, should i stop feedin them nutrients now in time for the hairs to have turned brown?.......does that make sense?i hope somebody knows what i mean
Thanks
Any help will be appreciated xx

Stop feeding at two to three weeks. A rule of thumb is to harvest when 50-80 percent of the trichs have turned brown. Some people say when they are a milky color is when they harvest.

2 -3 weeks before you harvest... you just give the plants ph checked water for two weeks to flush the chemicals from the nutes out of the plant ... good luck ...

i know its 2 to 3 weeks but in two to three weeks will the right amount of hairs hav turned orange?
i cant quite explain wot im tryna say.....wen u stop feedin them nutrients do the hairs start to turn orange or do they turn orange off their own accord?how long do they take to turn orange?
:s

The hairs turn red/orange according to the maturity of the plant, not when you stop feeding it nutrients. If you had a microscope able to see the trichomes you would look at them and then decide if it is time to start flushing. A good 30% of the hairs on mine are red/orange, I think it is time to start flushing the plant.

I get the question. It's "how will you KNOW when you're 2 weeks to harvest?" Just estimate and try to get a feel. How quickly have the hairs been changing? Go by that to get a feel for when harvest will be. It'd be better to flush too much than too little, so be generous with how soon you do it. You can give 'em a tablespoon of molasses per gallon of water too.
