My babies are in 4ltr pots (ruff geuss) but one is a bit bigger than the other and that one is shooting roots out the bottom of the pot now. Fuck do I do? And the 2nd thing is the base leaves seem to be going all yellowish and crispy. Any halp is muchios appriciatos. Il try and get some pictures up for as soon as possible.

Hey dirty trout. Love the name by the way.
Well from what you say it would seem that plant that is yellowing would be root bound, or at least on the way there. So transplant...
And are those bottom leaves the first true leaves? If you get what i mean, as they could be yellowing from a lack of light, but more likely root bound,
take it easy and all the best.

medium, fertilizer, how long have they been in pot? need more info. roots will grow out bottom in 2-4 days of transplanting, so not the best sign to go by for transplanting.

Hey Bunnyface. cheers for the help. yeah the leaves that are starting to go nasty are its 1st leaves, it must be root bound because there is light getting through to all the leaves.
hey brimck. thanks for your help to. theyve been in the pots for about 2 weeks now.
hey feelinspacey. cheers for your help to,yeah i think im gonna put them into bigger pots, but for the size of them just now i dont think its nessiscary for them to be transplanted but thats why im here haha, il put up some pics just now guys so you can see what im working with. cheers

thats the girls transplanted over to bigger pots :) hopefully that should solve the problem. However in my grow there has been something thats been bugging me though. im using cfl's but ive heard 101 different rumour of the way theyre placed... is it better vertical or horizontal or does it matter!?!? and if anyone can help or show me a link that would be awsumo!

A lot of people opt for Y-shaped light socket splitters that position the CFLs at 45° from vertical. I don't think it's critical as long as you optimize light coverage to the plants with reflective surroundings and get the lights in close. Space blankets get the cold shoulder all the time, but I think they work adequately.
