Wow! The long awaited day has finally come! I did not go for a full chop. Instead I chose to cut just the 4 main colas, and 1 phat side branch for now. I figured there would just be a couple of finger sized buds and popcorn left, but to my suprise there's a nice mid level canopy of mini nugs! They were hiding behind those nice sized colas I just cut down. I'd guesstimate there's about 1/2 of what I just chopped tonight or more left perhaps. I'm going to let the rest of her go until there's a decent amount of amber trichromes so I can have a range of highs and stones. 
Wet weight is 157.7g...so if I factor in 75% for water loss I'm hopefully looking at just under 40g. Holy moly! When I first started this grow I was thinking that 14g would be acceptable for my first grow. That seemed to be the average yield from PC case grows that I read while initially learning about growing. There's still a 2nd harvest from the same plant to look forward to in a couple of weeks to boot! I'll be anxious to see what my grand tally will be. I've already sampled about 4+ grams worth since after New Year's as well.
To dry the colas I started with an old box. I poked a couple holes thru it towards the top and strung a network cable thru it, and duct taped the slack to the sides so it was night and taut. I just hung the buds on the cable, and loosely tied them so they would stay evenly spaced. I opted not to cut any of the fan leaves or anything yet and will do so before I jar them up for the start of curing. I closed two of the flaps and will leave the box in the dark while it dries. I'm aiming for 5-7 days to dry and then start the long curing process.

I'm going to be starting the next grow after I fully harvest this one. I plan on using the PC box again, only to veg this time though. Then buy and re-purpose a storage cabinet to be my new flowering area. I might even try my hand at cloning this time around. The eventual goal is get a perpetual grow going to supply me, myself, and I!
