do I take the plastic dome off or no?

So I'm pretty new to growing but been reading and learning a lot from many experienced people, but I was told to grow in this small dome with about 50ish places to put the plants to start them out after germing, it has a plastic dome lid that goes over it, wouldn't that block/reflect the light away and make it more harder to grow them or no? Also this thing has a plug on it, which keeps the plants at a certain temp should I keep it plugged in or not? I'm growing in my upstrairs bedroom, so it's not cold or anything, and will be getting warmer.

Do you guys think it's bad to transfer plants or start them off in the original pots?

Transferring is fine depending on your method. When starting seed you could leave the dome on for humidity retention. This is the only time I use a dome. Never for clones. Also, don't kill them with too much light in the beginning. What's the light wattage?

I don't grow with domes anymore. More of a pain in the ass if anything.
Even with clones, I mist them 3 times a day for a week and let the light and fan blow weakly over them.
Never used a dome with seeds or a warming mat.
You may need to transplant your plants to larger pots later in life. Take your time , keep reading and don't over water.

I would just plant seed in a party cup. Small cheap and just use a couple cfls clones and seedlings dont need much light at all.

But i use the dome for clones. Never had a prob. But i live in a dry. Climate.

I am running 4 fluorescent bulbs, is this too much? I'm doing 16/on 8/off, I left the dome on, I noticed there is moisture on it as the sides have water on them, I only gave them a little water when I put them in but not soupy or nothing, I was told 2-3 days then they will need to re-water, so when should I transplant them to the larger buckets 5 gallon?

Let me know thanks alot.

How long does it take my plants to get done vegging IE: go into the flowering state on average, and when should I transplant them to the larger 5 gallon bucket?

I also have one room I'm starting in, It's 14" x 11" It's pretty large, I also have a walk in closest which I'm doing my vegging in, what should I keep my lights at IE: how far away from the dome, the dome lid is around 4" or so and it's up a few more inch's so it's 6" right away is that ideal?

also being in the large room I'm starting in, how many plants do you think I could do in there, Do you think I could get 36 plants in there, and how many 1000 watt's should I have in the room, please help me so I have an idea of where to go..

I'm starting out with 1000 watt not sure how many plants anywhere from 12-24 or more depending if I caregiver for me people, I also have another room in my house that is around 8" x 8" or a bit larger with a large walk in I want to know how many in that too, I want to use a charcoal filter and the fan that comes out of the light and a regular fan to circulate the air, I've been reading a ton on everything.

Today wasn't good either my temps were in the 90's is that going to kill it? I opened a window with a fan hopefully it can get cooler, tomorrow I'm going to look into a air condition since my plants will probably get killed by the heat.
