IMG_0227[1].jpgIMG_0226[1].jpgIMG_0229[1].jpghey everybody, well i grew outside this year and they looked gorgeous until half got seeded somehow as i had no males (i think one went hermie) and the other half (kaya gold) got mould and had to throw all top colas :-(.

so i spent 500 quid and emptied my shed, i have 18 sqft 6x3 floor space and 6 foot high,

i bought a 600w digital ballast with 600w sunmaster duel spec bulb,
lined shed with ply and covered with tin foil,
fitted an inline extractor fan with carbon filter and 6 inch fan
bought 10 bubblicious and 10 papaya fems from nirvana,
growing in mix of compost, perlite and shingle.

18 seeds popped three days ago so im happy with that,

i will update every week, and please if anybody has any advice just shout it out, cheers

you will want to repot them into single serving size.
As they are now they will struggle for resources and not grow to full potential.

You should repot pretty soon, The roots are getting all tangled and might get damaged when you repot. Good luck. Growing nice.

jonny you were right about roots, had grown all the way round the pot in just a week and a half, well we are all potted up now and about to switch to 18/6.

looks good, smurfy! A word of advice tho- get rid of the aluminum foil, it actually has very low light reflecting ability, and reflects more heat than light. I would suggest some mylar, or just paint the walls flat white. You'll get better use from your light and more dense buds. Keep it going!!

ok growmo alu foil will go but i have a bigger problem, my digital ballast doesnt see to fire up my bulb every time, as when i put it through the timer it doesnt come on unless i mess around with the switch on/off on/off so i will have to send it back but have no back up. what do i do as i cant afford to buy another one for spare ??????

so had to buy a magnetic ballast and this bloody digi is going straight back for a refund. now i have switched to 18/6 after nearly 2 weeks at 24/0 and the electric meter was going nuts.

so ballast working with timer 18/6, sweet, they look good to me and a very big difference to when grown outdoors.
just wondering if i should get a heater in there as temp drops to around 60f without the heat from the bulb.

well here they are, happy smoking all :bigjoint:IMG_0236[1].jpgIMG_0235[1].jpg

Hey man hows it going? Not bad for your first indoor grow. That sucks about the digital ballast, atleast you noticed your problems early so you could get a full refund. But this should be a good grow, I'll be around from time to time to check out your progress, Hope things go great for you.
