Seedling pics 10 days later (mini-MONSTER)

I just wanted to post some pictures of my friends sprout 10 days later..

He's using 4x 75 watt CFLs.. 2x 2800k, and 2x 6500k
So far the smallest one died, and 2 remain..

The first one to sprout actually hasnt done anything much, since.. It has grown 2-3 times bigger in size, but seems to of stopped growing new sets of leafs..

There are signs of new branches between the nodes, but hasnt done anything in a week or so..
Still only on its 4th set of true leaves, and almost 4 weeks now..
Green, and looks like it has recovered ok..
Its just weird that this one stopped growing new growth, and decided to bulk up (or so it seems) before making more sets..

This pic is 10 days old.. He didnt get any new ones since it hasnt done much but grow bigger in size

This next one is only one left, and was about a week or so behind the one above.. This is 10 days ago

This one has stayed very small, but has grown like mad..
Its was one set of leaves behind the first plant pic, and now has blasted by the first one..

Going on its 7th set of leaves, and already starting to branch out from all 5-6 lower nodes..

Still ONLY 2 inches tall at best, its so weird..
We happy with the total lack of stretching, but wondering if it will "size" up, and get more closer to the size it should of been if it had been started in proper mix..

Check out this minimonster! Here it is 10 days later:hump:

Never been topped, as its only 2 inches high..
But here are the new branches forming in the lower nodes!

The very bottom of this, if you cant tell was yellow from high pH soil mix.. Was transplanted days after it came up, and as soon as it was discovered..
This is a nice shot of the baby leaves, and first true leaves..
Can also see where the new branch is growing from the yellowed first node, and same with the 2nd node.
However they are growing in much better then the first..

Here is a nice pic of the whole tiny monster

That 1 you see next to the leaf, is one inch on a ruler.. So it looks like it is maybe 1.5-2 inches max...LOL

Its a little tank though.. Plans are (IF this is female) to make it a mother..

My friend was going to (on the first needed, and able "topping") to clone that, and then veg, and force flower the clone to see if this female...

Heard it was best method, in order not to stress out the plant any more then it needs to be..
This was just bag seed from a really good batch of kind a while back..

Heard force flowering can stress out plants, and since we need a mother, and need her to live long, and healthy...
Thought force flowering might not be a good idea..
Incase it IS a female..
In which case we want to get as many clones as we can as fast as we can, and not flower her..

If this IS female Im glad it will, or is looking to be a very bushy plant..
Need all the clones we can get ASAP if we want to get a nice first harvest..

Any suggestions or thoughts?

LOL out of all the people who stopped to read, only one responds..

Thx man, Im happy with this little bush..
Really hoping it starts to "bulk" up and get more closer true size soon...

Or atleast I hope it will clone ok, and not leave me with abunch of tiny bushes..

DOES anyone know if a "stunted" plant will provide proper clones, and not be "stunted" themselves?

looks nice and short and bushy already - you must be adjusting those CFLs every hour!
LOL no, I got them high enough, just stacking the little thing up closer to the light..lol

It has only really started getting taller in the last 10 or so days..

Waiting to see getting closer to "normal" size, but damn thing just seems to be growing taller. Not "filling out" like a normal plant should of done..
Just hope it will happen after a few more weeks go by..
THis is only plant thats even growing...
For some reason getting seeds to sprout has been really hard..
With the mix was using in the start it a wonder that any plants sprouted at all..
I cant even get seeds to germinate in damn paper towels for some damn reason...
Never had ANY problem in the past..

What you feeding it? Looks a little stressed.....or burned.
Im guessing stressed, because we live overseas, and the only english on the bag was organic mix..

Was stupid and didnt check the pH level of the soil first.. Was far too high..
Burned threw atleast 12 seeds before started wondering why nothing was sprouting.

Actually was only clued into a possible pH problem, when a plant thats in the first pic started going yellow, days after it sprouted...

It was in soil for a week or two maybe, before it was transplanted..
This little baby bush here was sprouted a week after the first one.. So it was in the soil only a few days before we discovered the problem with the pH..

After it was transplanted the leaves had only a hint of yellowing, but all nice green leaves otherwise.. I think it was only on its 2nd or 3rd set of leaves anyway...

So yeah since then the baby, and first set of true leaves have pretty much died.. The 2nd set are green, but are a bit on the yellowish side..
Only just a bit though..
It was this set of leaves that was still alive just when it was planted..

So everything since and after the transplant is all nice and green..
Just very very small..

Im still wondering if anyone thinks this will make an ok mother plant..
Or could clones from this plant be "stunted" or small like this one?

Its atleast 3 weeks old, going on 4.. Still only about 2 inches tall.. But its going on its 7th set of true leaves..

I mean its a fucking dwarf plant.. I dont care aslong as it will produce healthy clones that will grow normally, and to proper size...

I mean this thing shbould be atleast 6-9 inches tall right? After 3-4 weeks at 18 hr photocycle...

It is starting to branch from all lower nodes, and atfirst I was planning on taking a few clones, vegging just long enough to sex...

Im working with bagseed here so thought it would be good way to know wtf sex it is before getting all ready to flower, and end up with a male...

Im also wondering would it be ok to get one harvest, but leave enough green to keep the plant alive, and veg again...
Then take clones, and just keep it alive as a mother..
Will it still offer quality clones, and stay alive for a nice longtime..
Given proper nute, and conditions

Thx for any and all who drop me their opinions, and suggestions :joint:(B

i don't know about the cloning (i've never done it) but you should be happy that it is growing short and fat rather than tall and lanky!

lol sure I am, but really my lighter is bigger then this plant... And its been growing for about 1 month..
I also am not sure if its a female..
So far its only plant I have going..

For some strange reason Im having alot of trouble getting sprouts going.. Done it many many time in the past..

Dont think Im doing anything much different.. Using paper towels in a ziplock..
When I see one seed has cracked, I plant it.. Then nothing come up..

I had much more luck when I was just young pup.. Now Im older, and like to think abit wiser..
However I still having trouble getting my seeds to sprout

thats a problem, I live on a small part of the planet, and I cant read or speak the language here.. BUT from what I know, and have researched there are no HID gorw lights OR shops ANYWHERE.. \

Atleast I havent found one yet..
Only thing I have here are hardware shops, and aquarium stores to scavenge from..

So I wish I had that luxury of proper grow shops, and proper access to supplies..

Nice lookin, good job man!!! Lets hope for all ladies! Cheers. As for supplies, the majority of us buy online. Ebay all the way.

right right, shipping all the way over here is really pricey.. Also there could be duties, and things attached to importing somethings..

I cant read or speak the language here, and have no idea about their import laws, and things..

Thx for the kind words.. I only wich this plant would SIZE up... IF it is a female, then Im just stuck with the wonder if it will even be worth cloning.. If it stays to damn small..
It will have to veg for months till you could flower..

Im sure it would be a hell of a bush, but Im looking for a more "normal/regular" kinda grow..
Know what I mean..lol
