I am a newbie in the sense that first indoor grow. I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and RA and all the Dr's. wanna do is give me pain pills. Mary Jane is the only thing that helps that wont destroy my insides or mind. So, since the area I live in is dry, ( small retired coal miners town, average age of person......50. Im 32. ) I have decided to grow my own. I started them on March 8th, and began flowering on April 5th. So far, they look good to me, but need some advice on if there is anything I can do more of or less of. I am starting with a 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 6 room ( length x width x height ) I have 4 flouresent 40 watt daylight tubes, 2 daylight CFL's, 6 warm CFLS ( all CFL's are 26 watt ), and 1 70 watt HPS security light with a redneck reflector ( 3 aluminum pie pans lol ). 2 fans for circulation and 1 drawing fresh cool air from outside.I leave the doors open during the times the lights are on for more air circulation. Temps are maintaining 85 degrees at all times when lights are on. Lights are on 12/12, using organic soil then backing it with Miracle Gro every other week for watering, then regular water on the off weeks. I am posting pictures of various stage so far for you pros to scrutinize. Please be to the point so I can get the best out of what i have. Also, these are bag seeds from good stuff I have gotten recently, and looks like 2 different strains. So, if you could even help me identify, that would be very helpful. Thanks in advance to all who help. Figuring out how to post pics, and as soon as I do, I will post em.

Like I asked before, maybe help me identify these " bag seeds ". Even the leaves shape and textures and how they are growing is different. The ones in the yellow containers are taller while the clear containers are bushier. I did fem them early on too. But this is 1 week into flowering after 1 month in veg.

Looks green. Thats a plus and a step in the right direction. I say keep going and harvest up. After that you need to get serious and invest in a 400 or 600 hps for flowering. Also u need nutrients that are suited for cannabis. Your ailments are serious and Cannabis can help ease some of it. But yu must remember, the stronger the meds, the more pain relief, etc.

Thanks Ganja. Looking into getting a 400 watt HPS and some other nutrients for the next grow. Right now, not working so on limited funds right now, but wont be for long. Just wanted some opinions on it. I only have 100 bucks invested right now, but not looking to supply Northern US with my harvest. Just for myself and a couple of close buds. But so far, are they looking good?

I think so. There up and green so thats a start and that means your on your way.
A friend of mine was having crappie grows and he was still convulsing (MS) every 30-60 mins even though he was smoking ganja all day. Well when I took over and spun his garden around he was having less and less convulsions till finally I had every plant dialed and potency was raised. He would have one convulsion in the morning (cant smoke before a shower) then we would burn a joint and no more for the day.

Thats awesome. I was just wondering? These where from bag seeds of a good strains. Would I be safe in getting the proper nutes for flowering now or is it to late? ( 1 week in to flowering ) And, It looks like 2 different strains? I threw all seeds from the good bud I got into one bag instead of seperating them. Dumb! But ya live in ya learn. I have just been used to going to our campsite, sticking seeds in the ground and coming back and chopping em down months later. This indoor and manipulating mother nature is all new to me. I am also using backing soda and white vinegar on a drip. It actually produces straight CO2 when the chemical reaction takes place. My mom showed me this as an "old school" thing they did back in the day for indoor tomato plants. Tried it and within 2 days........POW The leaves looked almost like erections. Awesome !!!

You ! My Friend ... Are Winning :)

This is an awesome first time grow ... you have everything covered and on the cheap !...You should be very proud of what you have done so far :)

Plants look great so far ... just avoid over watering ( drowning )... let them run dry to promote root growth and moderate waterings to let the roots breath .
Don't be afraid to do this , Your plants will tell you when they want water .

I have no idea what strain they are ... but they look good so far , now you have detected and removed the dudes your on to a winner , Might be worth taking a few cuttings from one ( Or each ) of the females ... You will have some clone females that will be ready to be put to flower for your next grow :)

Good job so far man :) +rep

Thanks so much, Vento! I am definetly taking clones. My mom, of all people, is one of the "old timers" with TONS of knowledge on the best methods for cloning. Shes never smoked a day in her life, but shes all for it! I have the bottoms of the containers holed for irragation of the water so it never lays. And the watering, approx. every 3 days. I have a digital moisture meter and the containers are clear so I can see when my ladies get thirsty. Just added bloom booster and man, does that work! Now, should I keep on with nutes for one week, then regular water on the off week? Or, just keeps the nutes going until I see the tips of the fan leaves crisp? And, I read about carbonated water and misting your leaves? I am also doing a vinegar/baking soda drip for CO2. Can you give them too much CO2? Sorry for picking your brains, but the words of encouragement make ya feel good when ya feel lifes against ya. I will will posting pics probably Tuesday, to show progress. Oh, and just found out, the other 2 unknowns are ladies also................5 outta 6. I love when a plan comes together!

Well, checked this morning on my ladies, and I have white hairs popping everywhere! Taking pics tomorrow to post. Also, got rid of the t5 lighting to control temps 2 days ago, and I swear, they are doing better! Even my very bottom leaves are sticking straight out where they drooped before. Probably a combo of bloom booster and lights. But all is well in grow land here. Check back tomorrow for the updated pics and looking for further advice from my fellow growers and tokers!!!!!

I have to say a first time grower is hard to believe. Your doing great keep it up. With your disability I bet you suffer from pain. Sorry if thats an understatement. You should try the strain "The Church" it is great for pain relief. If you suffer from depression which most people today do, try Blue Dream, it cures my depression and makes me very giggly and happy.

Keep those plants pretty close to those CFL's until you get better. If you finish these plants under those lights I would consider flowering soon so you dont get to much stretch.

Keep going looking great, I little droopy though, night cycle? or just misted or watered?
