Day 44 pics , harvet b4 60days ?????

Below are pics of my first grow White dwarf auto fem's from big buddah.

Do you think these will make it to day 60 or are they closer to harvest ?

Looks like ill have to figure it out for myself

Those hairs are 50% turned. I would harvest now, its only loosing thc from this point on. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply , day 44 seems very early to cut these down i just flushed them today i need to give them at least a week to flush all nutes out of the bud or ill be tasting it when smoking ?

Buy a scope. Look at the trichomes, if they have little white balls on top and milky transparency ur good to go. And look and make sure all ur white hairs have turned a orange brown. Dont really rely on 60 days as a cut off, ur plants will tell u when they are ready to harvest.

You got 2-3 weeks left. Don't harvest now. Wait till your hairs turn brown or red and start to recede into the bud. The alternative is to go buy a scope from radioshack to check the trichs.

as for losing any THC, this seems to say that your buds will be more potent if left unharvested...

I was being a smartass for flipping us off.

Looks like they won't be done even by day 60. Those things have at least 3-4 weeks or more. The buds are thin and scraggly, not full at all, the hairs(pistils) are still all white and fresh, and she seems to want to keep growing more. Looks very healthy and happy, let it go to maturity. If you harvest anytime sooner than a minimum of 2 weeks from now, I can almost guarantee you'll be very disappointed.You will get very little effect from your smoke, and most likely end up with a headache very shortly after. I've said it a lot on here lately and I'll say it again, hairs mean nothing when it comes to harvest time, it's ALL ABOUT THE TRICHOMES.

Thanks again to every1 for helping out a first time grower i do appriciate it alot and this site is a world of knowledge for a newbie like myself thanks to the experienced growers who share there experiences with the less so experienced people like myself
