Window Sil/CFL grow

Hola everyone, I am working on my first grow, I know tons of people say that marijuana wont grow in the window sil. But alot say that marijuana can be grown in the window sil. So I am going to test this out. Its march so I am getting an earlly jump on the season...Remember: I am only doing this to have a little fun I realize there will be very little yield so if your just here to flame my thread, go some where else hater!

I just have a good looking bagseed that I got outa some Schwag or maybe some mids I cant remember.

I am germinating the seed right now, I am going to take some soil from right outside my apt. it should be plenty watered down by now as It is just turning spring and most of the snow melted already. And I am going to use tap water that has been left out for 24-48 hours to water the plant. And when it gets to flowering I will just buy a nute stick from dollar general. And Iwill use a dixie cup for the first month, and a 2liter for the remainder of the time.

Ok so for lighting- I will have a small growbox for when my roomate gets home. He doesn't work M,Tu,F,Sa,SU of this next week, and the week after that he doesn't work W,Th. So in my grow box is- 1 27 watt cfl from Dollar General, hopefully I can get a Y socket thing and put up 2 CFLs. And that will be my grow box.
So for window sil w,Th,F of next week they will sit on the window sil from 6 am to 6 pm and then be put back in there grow box.

After a month I will start giving them 12/12 light and start flowering them. That is where the nute sticks from DG will come in. I will transplant them to a bigger pot (2liter) and then let them flower another month and a half.
I will force an earlly harvest by pruning and topping them (I hope).

I am just trying to get a grow under my belt before summer starts so I can kinda understand how it all works first hand. Ok this is my first grow so I realize I am making some mistakes but I am just trying to have some fun. So i dont want any comments saying get an HID or HPS or MH because it isnt going to happen. If you guys can reccomend some different cfls that may be possible if I can get multiple y sockets I may possibly get more cfl's but probably not.
I just want friendly tips on how to up my thc content and how I can make the best out of what I already have. No Flaming (if you want to rant go somwhere else)

oh yes and my window faces the south for optimum light i would say a min. of 8 hrs a day of sunlight

The plant will stretch a lot trying to reach more light sitting in a window sil, I guarantee you. How many people or good grows do you see or read and started off "check this out, grew it in my window sil!" answer is none. You seem to realize this somewhat because you understand that an HPS, MH, or HID would be a much better option. CFL's are fine too but your gonna have to do better than 1 MAYBE 2 little cfl's. Sorry man but Id have to say it would fail miserably. Not trying to bash just keeping it real. But by all means go for it. At least do better than the dirt sitting outside your apartment. Everyones gonna probably suggest similar things, I mean its screaming fail and you dont want your first grow to be a loss and start off with a negative under your belt. I could list a million things wrong here but I wont I kept it limited. But i wish you the best and Goodluck

and get bigger cups lol a dixie cup will last about 3 days maybe, no way a month and a half. Sorry man you say you wanna get an idea of how it all works but this is exactly how it doesnt work. my .02

I tried this last year with kc brains Northern lights, I started my seedlings in the window sil an they do stretch abit, any way i grew them there for a week then slowly got them used to the sun outside [hardened them off], And they sure did get used to it, by september i had sum out door grown uk sunned Northern lights, wich i fort woz gonna b a no go. Just experiment, good luck

MAN DAMN!!!! I started a window sill grow about 2 weeks ago and wasn't gonna post all my shit up till mid veg....I thought I was the only one...na jk but I didn't kno anyone would be trying!! I have my reasons
