This is my grow journal and any and all input is welcome.

After doing a good deal of studying and finding ROI i thus planted using bagseed. I'm aware being a newb i'll likely mess something up and didn't want to invest in good seeds that under my inexperienced hands wouldn't produce many happy results.

I'm about 2.5 months into the grow. Currently my box
is about 20x20x20 lined in foil mylar. 2 4" mini fans rigged for exhaust(CFM about 50 together) I sprouted the first 2(pics 4-7) under 3 CFL 2700k 26w and 1 6500k 26w. The 3rd plant i found outside where i last smoked and cleaned some mersh. Now after bringing it inside, added 2 more 6500k's cuz i'm putting them to veg(i'll be adding at least 2 more bulbs once growth picks up) Note that the 6 plant pics are side and top veiws of my 3 babys

After struggling with spider mites a month ago they had bounced back. On my first and strongest plant i topped and am hoping for the best...

Some problems have come up that i'm not sure of the problem. As you can see i've got some yellowing on alot of the lower leaves. I have been seeing what looks like algae on the bottom inside of the pots(aka 1QT paint mixing buckets, they're clear i know thats bad for the roots but i've got some 3QT buskets painted black). 2nd is the second plants leaves are really sagging, it used to be upright and happy more than a week ago.

I know, been busy with work too much lately but now its cooled down. I have a temp/hygrometer inside, temps ranging from 75 nightly-86 daytime. haven't been able to keep the humidity up at all above 30%, tried putting a cup water in the box and a fan pointed on it but no added affect. As for watering i give about 3oz to each every 2-4 days depending on how dry the soil feels(i also own a simple moisture meter and ph meter. Ph has swung from 6-6.5 throughout the whole grow thus far. I'm using from 1/4-1/2 nutes though they still might be high. From what i see in other threads is alot of people use nutes meant for mary jane and I can only afford the Schultz 10-15-10 and the Greenlight 5-15-5 plus root stimulator and I'm a regular backyard gardener and had some MG Organic choice 8-0-0.

If anyone has an affordable nutes more suited for my plants that i could likely pick up at your local hardware or garden store i'd appreciate it.

I bought some 2.5QT mix buckets(again, but cheap) spray painted them black to protect the roots better than the old ones. I watered the other day with filtered h2o then I let set out for 2 days to take out more of the chlorine to keep it as neutral as possible. So far no improvements BUT today i transplanted, followed by a small helping of B1 for any shock.

I painted the 3rd pot today and i'm waiting 3 days for the VOC's to fully evaporate so that i don't poison the girls. My next pics should be with the 3rd in its new home.

Leaves are standing up on the 2 i transplanted. The larger on that i topped her leaves have begun twisting and warping in weird dirrections. The 3rd thats still waiting to be repotted has these dark circles. No bugs as far as i can tell and no nutes in over a week...?

Any idea's folks

All was going great till yesterday. Woke up to my #2 girl all wilted with a bunch of dry dead fan :-( so I went ahead and trimmed.

Anyone have a clue as to what happened? I haven't changed anything since the transplant, they've been on a B1 and water diet since then 1/4 instructed amount every 3 days.

As for the other girls they're doing great. Alot of green has come back to my biggest and the dark spots on the other have cleared up and now waiting to transplant.

Lastly I wanted to share with you my most prized peice. He's an ADS, named Kevin Bak'n. I know my ash catch looks like it needs an oil change. I had some friends over last night, at the begining of the night it was clean as a the peice himself.

Got the last one transplanted. Shock has set in a little. Just waiting for it to bounce back and grow them roots and leaves. I've been feeding every other watering with 1/4 nutes of b1 for transplanting.

As for the other it has gotten bushy for its short size. Though i don't know why the lower leaves just wont stay green. The upper ones however have browning tips. I think its light burn or nute burn. My research lead by my previouse problem was a lack of micronutes though i may have over done it???

Feel free to give feedback i'm a novice grower and would be greatful for any help

No changes so far with my latest transplant, shocked and the lower fans have all died and the tips of the upper are turning brown drying and dying. Thankfully the new growth is as happy as can be.

Please anyone and everyone feel free to comment, I can use any help ya'll can give.

Peace :)

Just hang in there, see if they recover... They do look a little on the rough side, especially for how old they are...

If you are still in VEG and really looking to have a decent yield, maybe consider going to 18/6 lighting for the remainder of VEG... You will definetely notice a difference as compared to 24/0...

Make sure you've got some good ventilation... You can keep all those CFL's close as hell to the plants and it doesn't really look like they are burned... but maybe some nice fresh air would do the trick... ???

Good Luck to you... remember, you have to start somewhere... work from there...

MAke sure you have good drainage, I think it may have been a bit soon to feed them after transplant but if you see new growth then you should be ok, Make sure when you water the plants that you get plenty of run off out the bottom. Do not water the plants and not water enough for water to drain out and not allow salt build ups. Good luck and next attempt try some soil less mix like they carry at a good nursery in your area. they looked stunted to begin with and could have been because of the MG, some strains dont like it at all yet people will argue its fine. Better to be safe and not use it next time

yo bro im not trying to be rude but them plants look like shit...If you got some more seeds i would start germin them start over and take what you have learned...do better next time keep the ones you got going but since there in veg anyways you might as well pop a couple more seed they might be so stressed they turn out male...so bro im speaking from experience germ a couple more seeds...

HEy" thedifference" i would like you to explain why would it get them to recover if you put them under 18/6, my sprout are under 24/24 and doing fine. And i was wondering if i water them until it drips will i drown them. I mean can i drown them if my pot is pierced in the bottom... and is 90 really to high for growing what can i do more i have a desktop fan pointing on the sprout and 2 pc fan for intake and exhaust runnin full time and my temp are always that high , btw when i put my hand between the sprout and the lamps its not even warm... what do you think and why 18/6 better than 24

worry about keeping them alive first before wondering which is better, you need to allow the soil time to dry out. I let my plants go all the way until they start drooping leaves before I water and yah let it drain off well when watering

Thanks I'll open the doors and air out the house. It's been a little colder than norm and doors/windows have been shut. I was begining to think the my light cycle was causing some unwanted stress. And everyone is right they are small for their age, only 5-6" :(

Saddly a bunch of leaves ended up going way brown and crumbled right off. I've been giving nothing but filtered water that sat for 3 days to unchlorinate it as much as possible. IDK whats going on???

My big girl has begun to go a shade or 2 lighter I imagination its cuz of the pure water diet they're both on.

As far as I can tell alot of my brown tips all over the 2 in generalis due to a lack of micronutes so I'll begine adding once the small 1 comes back a bit, but if the big'n goes south on me I'll start right away

Woke up christmas eve to see my small girl just completely gave up, all was left is the main stock . And almost the same to my big one as well. Thankfully there are SOME leaves left. I hadn't watered in about 3 days then flushed with filtered water to diluted any deposites building in the soil and I guess my timing wasn't good so close to transplant.

What i think happened was over nutes cuz i found about 7 of those time release fert balls from 1 of the soils i used that WAS SUPPOSED to be organic and free of that stuff.

I'm already planning my second grow, maybe start it along side with my 1st or wait till the 1st completely dies then start...?
