Where do you get your cfls for a grow and what type?

Where does everyone get there cfl lighting supplies ?

I bought some cheazy security lights for way to much but the cfls worked good for vegging ,i got 4 500 watt equiveliant cfl security lights when i didnt know what i was buying lol like these ones here http://growwurks.com/4-500w-fluorescent-ho-grow-light-cfl-hydroponic.aspx


I just want to buy a cheap mogul/reflector and some of those big fat cfls like this

and could i just get a cheap reflctor like this one here http://www.buylighting.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=FE-R100-UR&click=12191


So i know growing with cfls works and i know someone knows where to get the clamps/lamp and bulbs for cheap thanks.

you can get the reflectors WITH clamps and socket for cheaper at a hardware store (lowes and such)

Id perfer this as well instead of getting all the grow equipment stacked up on the CC.

Wal mart dosnt carry anything over 40 watts in store or site. The lights at lowes are bad ass. I got 2 of them, 65 wat cfls. Yes they fit in a regular socket. And these lights are used for replacement for the out side gargae light, patio light ext. Think about it before you speek. If your using a 300 watt flood light, and replace it with 65 watt cfl, you waste less energy and bulb last longer than your hps,mh,merc vap. ext. and its just as bright

And if your smart you would cfls in your wholw house, think about it, In my room aand bathroom alone, i have a 60 watt ligh and ceiling fan, a lamp with 3 60 watt lights. in my bathroom i have a 6 light vanity with 100 watt lights and another 60 watter in the closet. thats 900 watts of lights right there. i swithched all my houshold lights to cfls and you dramatically use less watts.. went from 900 watts of regular bulbse to 290 watts of cfl And the little watts you save here and there, you can add to your grow room without suspision. The less you use your house hold units for power, the more you can run in your room.

-so i can get the regular 65 watt cfls that go in normal light sockets

my question was worded funny but here it is one more time better explained,

I want to use the big cfl bulbs to grow and i dont want to pay 60$ for a cfl grow light reflector and i dont want to pay 140$ for 4 cfl flood light things i just want a cheap thing i can plug those fat cfl bulbs into to grow,

so i need these big fat cfl light bulbs plus what to plug them into for cheap? to equal a makeshift grow light?

If your really serious about dropping some loot on CFLs though i recommend this, maybe 2 or 3.

yeah on that link to the light bulbs i saw you could add a reflector for like 39$ thats cool because for like only 48$ i can get the reflector and a 42 watt or spend up to 105$ depending on what wattage bulb i get but i think the 42 watt with a reflector would be kind of cool like 1 per small plant then maybe switch to bigger bulbs for flowering?
