Smell question

This is my first grow and my babies are in the 24th day of flowering.
The strains are Medijuana and Ganesha's Dream.

I am smelling an ordor that smells moldy coming out my exhaust fan.

They are asleep now, I did not notice any mold on them today when I looked.

Can you tell you have mold by smell alone? or is the weed stinking like that normal?

wed is usually all kinds of stinky during its growth, but if i was you next time the lights are on i would check around the fan and you grow area, throoughly, Justto be sure.

Id check, but my house reeks of all kinds of smells!

all atrain r diff... i have heard of sum that smell like road kill or armpits... rite now my room is smelling like dog shit... dont get me wrong, it could be mold but if u dont see any, it could jus be the weed... r u using soil??? it could jus be that

why not go down there and just smell the nugs? if they smell like mold its just your nugs, if they smell like sweet citrusy flowers, then something's wrong.

I am using soil and I am nicely toasted. It smells like a wet towel left in a clothes hamper.

I am going to let it dry out some in there.

I am going to give the tent a cleaning tomorrow regardless.

how high has the humidity been running in there? What was is today? Seems a little early for a mold issue but sure could be.

The smell is definately the Medijuana I swear she smells like an old sock

Do they still smell moldy? Because they are looking damn nice!

They are smelling really good.

Them medijuana is has incredibly dense buds, they are very hard.

They have a fruity spicy smell. You can smell it all over the house but you get used to it real quick.

You can tell people its that dirty sock weed!

No I'll tell them its "old wet towel in the hamper"

Seriously I just got home from a trip and my house reeks of the bud, I may be having to harvest at 8 weeks due to that fact that no one can enter my house!

Charcoal filter?

You really should have anticipated your weed smelling! There is a really good odour control thread on here, there are loads of ideas on here that are cheap to implement. I used to get a mouldy smell years ago, and that was down to a light bit of mould on my soil. Could have been your soil, but i would still keep an eye on your plants. Saying that i grow the church and that smells like mouldy old rubbish!
