How to flush for harvest???

Hello all. I bought the General Hydroponics Flora Kleer to assist, but...it's not terribly clear on what to do or what to expect. Do I just give water? For how long do I flush with the solution or with water. Do I starve the ladies of water? aggggg! It's my first grow! I think they look good enough but I don't want to ruin the work I've put in for the past two months. I hear that you can have great bud but it can be ruined with the green and/or fertilizer taste. Frustrated and needing helping! Thanks for any and all advice.

For a final flush before harvest:-

2 weeks before harvest, flush pots with ph balanced water (water at your desired PH level). To do this if the pot is 2 gal then you pour at least 6 gal of ph water through pot. Continue to water when required with plain ph'd water (no nutrients)

1 week before harvest flush pots again then continue to water when required with ph'd water until harvest day.

Simples.

Thanks Krusto! So I don't need the kleener? So, there's no way to know it's been done properly outside of the daily ritual for two weeks?

You dont need it but it will help assist flushing..Yeah i guess no one really did it properly outside if it was not in its own pot...

Thanks Wyteberrywidow! Makes sense. One more question. Do the leaves change to those purples, reds and the like during this flushing period?

You could use the kleener if you wish, but two weeks would be enough without. Maybe if you want to just flush for just the last week then i would def use the kleener as its supposed to speed up process, I use Cannna Flush if im in a rush but dont like the idea too much as its using chemical to wash out chemical. You know its working as the leaves will yellow a lot more as the stored nutrients locked in the leaves is eaten, its why you dont need to give any more nutrients.

I think purples and reds are strain specific, what you may notice with most types is a lot more width on the buds and more crystal formations in last two weeks.

OK. Then during the flushing period and trying to thicken up the buds, do you stop the sweetners and the fatteners such as PK 13/14?

Stop ALL nutrients. There should be enough of what you have given it stored in the plant. When you stop giving nutes and just give plain water the leaves will start yellowing, this is the plant using those stored nutrients from within the leaves.

What is the process if u are using hydroponics? Also I've heard of giving plants molasses or sugar during this time. What will that do? And will it clog my pump? Thanks.
