hey gypsy i think the one yellow leaf looks fine it shows how healthy the rest are ;)

ive been experimenting one plant thats 10 weeks along in veg, its been topped, and have pruned about 6--8 ends which is having great multiplying results :)

i have a question, are the plants in your canopy clones only? they do look quite similiar leaf to leaf but just curious to know if there is diff phens of same strain, or seed starts etc etc

Well... you are looking at 6 plants in 3 pots...

I started with 3 sativa moms.. same strain from clone...

and I added 3 indica plants (1 each) to the sativas.. to fill in the middle...

So all 3 are indica centers surrounded by sativa branches...

The Indicas were from seed.. but about a year ago... all of these plants were moms that vegged for a year and gave me hundreds of clones before I decided to do this experiment....;-)


I call them Sativicas...:eyesmoke:

Ok got some Qs for ya Gypsy. I see your training or lst the plants. And I see you do some low pruning on yours. What are yoiu doing to get so many new growths are you just pinch the center or topping or pinching multiple branches or is it all just from the lst. I have never really been into much training just the lollipopping and ocassional pinch main stalk but seems like you got your technique down good for making branches

those were moms Fletch...:razz:

about a year old... each gave me hundreds of SOG clones...

Then I just stuck an Indica mom in the middle of a Sativa mom.... and this was what I got after some vegging...

So yeah.. not much of a technique.. as more of a "it just came out that way"...:lol:

Pretty neat though...:eyesmoke:... Sativicas...:lol:

ahhh so the 3 that have all those bud sites are just old moms you been hacking clones off for awhile so that explains the split in branchesd being so many. Thought you lollipoped then did some pinching or topping to get all the sites going.

well... the 3 are actually 6...;-)

and yeah you're right...

but if you want to see someone with their technique DOWN... you gotta check MBlaze's grow out...

The last one he got 6.1 pounds from 3 plants... I meat trees...;-)

Yeah Blaze is got me messed up now as I now have 5 plants in 30 gallon containers vegging so i can try big inddor plants lol

And I hate growing soil but gonna do these in soil first see what i get then do 5 in seperate 25 gallon aero tubs and compare Im gonn stop my at around finish height of 6 feet though

yeah i cant do that though I hate coco with a passion more then dirts to me its god awful stuff never could keep aything alive in it and it stays to wet for me. Had a few friends try it also and they wont touch it again either so Im using Happy frog,perlite, and lightwarrior then feeding foxfarm nutes

i would have to assume.. about 14 inches.

yes they stretched a little, but they are starting to get better with time.


this was my first serious indoor grow, i learned alot of things that will be usefull for next time. :)

Blaze what strain is it again? And wanted to ask since now I have it stuck in my head to toss a side grow together of bigger plants. Is it all lst to get so many heads or are you pinching branches also? Im just going to do 5 plants under 1200 watts in 30 gallon pots but try to finish at like 6 feet and see what it comes out. im not going to do as much training as I simply dont have time to do so but some basic and maybe some pinching with good lollipop. When do you like to start lollipopping in this soil/coca grows? Ill do soil but I dont do soil usually only aero and hydro so gonna run Happy frog perlite,promix and guano as my main mix with some toip dressing worm castings

Its an unknown strain so I probably should give it a name of some sort hahaha.
I FIM once when the plant is small and I trim it up throughout the veg period. I also tie down the branches to encourage the other colas to try and take over and become mains. Each cola that I want to become mains get the bottoms trimmed up during veg.

This is how I trim up the top branches




And after a few days growth its starts to bush up again

Thats all that matters, is that you know what to do better next time.bongsmilie
