Purple Star Journal - 12/12 - First Grow Ever

id like to thank everyone out there thats helped me out so i could start this first grow. ive attached pics of my grow cabinet with a 12/12 cycle from seed.

tried getting the roots downwards but both ended up on their sides so if they want to grow up and then down or straight down they can do whatever the fuck they want! made sure soil was very moist before planting the seeds and made holes with my pinky about an 1/2 (more or less) deep and covered the seeds after putting them in there.

theres 2 seeds in that one pot, dont know if i should have done that or if its too late, blah fuck.

i have 2 42w red CFL in there with 1 23w blue CFL.. the other blue CFL broke when it fell out of the power bar... then i got another one... and that fucker broke and fell out too... so i just forgot about getting another one...

I checked my pot last night for any signs of sprouting and it had those 2 small leaves. When i woke up 6 hours later it had the 2 other set of leaves on it :-P

There is another seed in the same pot i planted but it hasnt sprouted yet... hope it will and i know it takes time sometimes so im still hopefull... praying that these babies are girls :weed:

When do i know when to water the babies?

oh because theres another seed in there and i didnt want them to tangle there roots so i tried keeping them an equal distance apart but not in an unsymetrical way so they both get equal amount of light. and ive changed my mind about the 12/12 from seed... im going to be doing some lst for a few weeks and then put her right into flowering if there girls.

the second set of leaves are coming through... gonna start flowering once its about 8-10 inches tall. its a pure indica so what kinda yield can i expect with CFL's?

its almost 2 weeks old i think and i see these 2 hair things coming off the side of the first set of leaves you know where they come out of the main stem. is that pistils and this early on top of thatÉ

the bottom 2 leaves have seen some nute burn but i think thats stopped now. i use this all in 1 shit 17-17-17 but i put that in the soil from seed. :dunce:

i dont think i should have done that and i dont think its affected any new growth cuz its growing really fast.

i made a lil stand thing for the pot to elevate it closer to the lights cuz i was too lazy to lower the strings :dunce:

haha dont use that shit, use lower strength

yeah i thought i shouldnt have but its the stuff u put in the soil its not liquid nutes that u put in the water n stuff. its like these small ass lil balls.. i only put 1/4 of the recommended amount for my pot size.

the lil bebe's jus recovering from some nute burn... its still in flowering going at about 3-3.5 weeks. the leaves already have thc crystals on them

and the plant is starting to get some purple hues on the newer leaves. pics up soon after midterms.

the long awaited update. its about 1 or 2 weeks over a month old now. finally fully recovered from nute burn and deformed leaves. all new growth is perfect lush and healthy. some of the old deformed leaves are still there and i didnt want to take it off cuz i might shock the thing.

i clipped off any burned matter. added a small amount of slow release ferts. its in bout 5 days of flowering and is a female!!! i see pistils coming from the top nodes :clap:

i dont know what week of flowering it is, but its coming along great. there were a few ups and downs but looks like everythings going to be okay.

harvesting when the pistils are 60ish % red

i messed up.. im a newb.. but i learned from my mistakes..

well for starters i used fertz too early when it was a seedling i know that was dumb

then a few weeks into flowering i didnt water in time which dried out the leaves.. i read that if u let the soil dry out a bit it increases THC production

also, my leaves were coming in retarded.. not from heat because i still keep the lights at the same distance it its comin in fine now... but the new growth fixed itself

im planning on trying a revegg once i harvest

the buds just seem to be growing more and more
