1 month old veg..perlite, CFLS and some unnamed indica

What up guys..i set up a nice closet grow about a month ago,..everyone has been extremely helpful on here..about a week ago plants had some type of deficiency so i transplated em to perlite and pruned the burnt leaves off..i think it was from chlorine in tapwater..check out the pics of the 3 plants..

how am i doing? i think ive prevented stretching pretty well in the first 2 plants by keeping the lights close for nice tight nodes..check it out
first 2 pics are the plants growin the best..the 3rd pic is the runt..which looks to be a different phenotype although all seeds came from the same place..
last 2 pics are of the new growth

btw..i will soon be receiving 5 cinderella 99 clones ..so as soon as i receive those ill throw pix up

even though im not running a grow journal..heres a little update

plants are roughly 4.5-5 weeks veggin..they are approx 7" tall..not bad for jus 2 100w cfls and 2 floro tubes..anyway..heres my predicament

i live in an apt in which the lease is up june 1st. I wanted to try the situation with a closet grow and some bagseeds so i didnt have to drop that much money..now that I see that the situation can work out, I want to get another grow in before the end of the lease..however if i flower the plants on jan 12th which is what i was planning and for about 8 weeks..i figure that sa good estimate cuz its bagseed..thatl put me in mid march..

however..if i do flower now, im going to get like an 3.5-7gms if that..
but i dont want to waste my time growing them and finding out 2 are male and hten i put that time in for virtually no bud and i cant get another grow in..

what do you think i should do? i leave it up to you RIU

so keep these going and start more. I like to start 10 or so. Clones are the way to go

i think imma win a 250 watt hps off of ebay..apparently it says it also accepts MH bulbs of the same wattage..should be pretty diesel..

anyone know anything about this sunsystem 5 250 hps/mh

any opinions on strains.. its a closet space...i want something with decent flowering time 7-8 weeks preferred..average yield..and mostly sativa..it kills me to want to grow sativa because ofthe extra long flowering times.so if any of you know a good sativa wiht short flowering or a sativa/indica hybrid lemme know

btw just picked up some KoolBloom from GH for the flowering stage..it came with a sample bag attached of the koolbloom crystals..i think its just powder form..however its alot more potent at 0-45-28 or something like that..whereas the liquid is 0-10-10

anyone used this?

I got the sunsystem 1000 mh/hps switchable I love it. Switch the bulbs and flip a switch that's all there is to it.

think it was from chlorine in tapwater.....


i did some reading up on this chlorine in ap water is fine (in moderation)99% evaporates before the plants can absorb it . i used to leave my water out all the time and now i use it 1-2 mins out of the tap and my plants seem to perk up more . i was told because"fresh"tapwater is aerated when it comes out of the faucet the plants benifit more from the rush of oxygen then they are hurt by chlorine! i am no scientist but like i said i did my research on this and the proof was in the growing for me.also when you leave water out it can quickly have an alge bloom especially when around bright lights , or become stagnant...

I am looking at a 150 watt hps upgrade now, the more I look into it, the more I find that its gonna be a all around better set up
