  • Well, I'm hoping you are saying I'm at least on the right track, size wise. It's a little complicated to calculate since I'm pulling air into the grow, over the
exchanger. The more air I pull,. the more efficient the exchange voltage requirments.

So, I'm trying to think out a feedback loop between the fan and the peltier, but most probably work one against a set point on the other.
Probably set the exhaust fan on lowest speed for quiet and live with the lower efficiency on the (oversized) exchanger. Not worried at all
    about the water block side.

Then I need to work out a way to switch polarity. An SSR double pole, double throw?

I can set the hysterasis in HHS worked through a Phidgets temp sensor.
But, I'm thinking I need to use the Arduino to control the power slope into the neutral zone.
I've heard of surge problems. Did you get any of that?

I grow soil and use Buttonwillow Nursery in Reedley. They carry some hydro, but not much. When I finally switch to hydro I'll probably end up going to TC Growers Supply in Visalia.
