This isn't 100% true, I have a small bottle of Miracle Grow liquid nutes that is 8-7-6.

A smaller space with the same amount of light will require MORE ventilation, not less. Regardless of the light fixture being outside the box, it WILL transfer heat through the light itself. If it's a closed grow, vent it.

Outside growing isn't an option, this is Chile country, and pests eat any plants I place outdoors within a few days, regardless of measures (except netting, again, poor, can't afford it. NTM it gets 100+ consistantly with spotty rain or cloud coverage, and you have to wait til near October here...

I've got a similar problem. Mine has leaves on each side, but no real branches, and only two nodes. I think it's from the plant stretching for the light, seems to make sense.
