I was told to spray them off the plant and get something called "Tanglefoot". Tanglefoot is applied to the stem for a few inches to keep crawly bugs off. So, I'm going to look into that and see how it goes. Let me know if you guys think of other things I should try.
In the last week or so I've noticed little black ants making what seems to be a mud nest on some of the branches of my plants. Are they helping or hurting the plant?
I think its southern blight. I belong to another growing forum and one of the members was kind enough to look it up for me. I'm posting what it is here to hopefully help someone else that may have the same issue in the future. Here's a link to what they found for me...
This is a backyard grow and I have been letting the grass and weeds grow around it to help hide my babies. Didn't think it would be part of the problem. p.s. Thanks for taking the time to search google to help me out with this.
Up until two days ago all of my plants were nice healthy and bushy. All of a sudden two have died. At first I thought was due to lack of water, but it has been raining every day or two for the last two weeks. Then I looked at the stalk and this is what I saw. Do you have any idea what it is...
