what is the best medium to root outdoor clones? Is rooting solution needed before planting?

cutting down on light will cause it to flower early.go from 24 to 16 . then take 2 hours away from the plant every week untill you get to no light at all. after a week with no light it will be flowered. give it normal 8 hour lighting untill harvest.
