All is not well in my grow room. I am running 11 plants, 6 mango and 5 of an unknown strain. The plants are growing via DWC on the Bloom Yellow Bottle program. The 6 mango are doing fine, while three of the others are not doing so well. The leaves are beginning to turn brown from the center...
so i raised the buckets so they no longer have any water sitting in them while they are not being fed...seems like a pretty big design flaw if this is such a problem. I went to the local grow shop the other day to get another opinion and they were worried that it could possibly be a sign of too...
i hadnt given it much thought until now, but was wondering if anyone could shed some light on ideal temperatures to keep the reservoir at in a hydroponic setup?
the ac will likely drip water into your bathroom, although im on the same page as renyman...why are you trying to run an ac in below freezing weather? if heat is an issue, just pump some of that already cold air inside
i considered doing that for a while. i now just my timing set so the lights are on overnight when its coldest out to keep the temps up, then off during the day so the temp doesnt fluctuate too much. i do have a space heater in the room that i turn on if the temp starts to get too low. havent...
my guess would be a carbon filter hooked up to your exhaust fan...i just have my exhaust blowing into the attic and that seems to be working just fine (not so sure about the smell upstairs tho ha)
there has always been a little bit of water at the bottom of the pots (about 2 inches) when the water has drained back from the reservoir. i assumed that it would be ok for the roots to be sitting in a little bit of the water since the instructions coming with the ebb and grow system suggested...
i change the reservoir once a week, but only have flushed out the tubes once. i put in some hydrogen peroxide (3%) earlier today, so its too soon to tell if it has begun to make a difference. is root rot something that my plants will likely recover from...or is is this the end of the line???
