During the seedling stage (first 3 weeks) each plant requires a maximum of 375 lumens each. So 10 X 375 = 3750 lumens total. about 50 watts of CFL (6400K) is enough till then. Then when they start flowering you want up to a max of 10,000 lumens per plant. i.e 2 X 400W HPS would do it nicely.
