I've got 5 babies growing well under a small florescent right now, when should I move them under my 400W metal halide to veg? Is there a certain week or size?
I've also been thinking about this lately, but don't have any real good ideas how to make it totally stealth looking with 2 ports and an ac unit. Maybe put the ac unit in the window, then on either side have a hole for the intake and exhaust. Then maybe dryer vent covers to make it look...
Those cups need to be closer to the lights, and the lights need to be cfls. they're pretty cheap so go pick some up at lowe's, some more fixtures, and some y splitters
Just get a filter and hook it up filter-cool tube-fan and exhaust it into the attic and you'll be fine. I like to over do fans so I'd be looking for at least 250cfm to get through the filter and pull the hot air out
So I've been working on this little metal cabinet I picked up cheap. Its deminsions are about 30''w, 35''t, and a depth of about 32''. I have a cool tubed 400 watt MH in there connected to a 225 cfm blower with a carbon filter on the end. I also have two large pc fans (120mm) blowing fresh...
i have a metal lockable filing cabinet with dimensions of 30''h 32''W and 22'' deep. I'm planning on using it for a veg cab. Would a 250 watt metal halide light be good in a cool tube with about 300cfm outtake fan? I think this should keep it cool enough right? then i'm think about drilling...
i'm working on 1 right no with 7 cfls in it. with 2 fans and no holes cut it got up to 155F but i'm working on a new ventilation system, i'll let you know the results. But I don't think you'll be able to do a 400W MH without some serious fans
