Hi picture of the bud sites look great i would say give it another 2 weeks you will see leaves turning yellow and the plant drinking a lot less than when you started out ,personally i leave mine in pot till soil dry for 2 day so when i chop the stems not nuch water and dries out quicker in he...

JMHO the plant loks great most or all of its stretch has past now you did the right thing in stripping the lower part of the plant where the pop corn grows the colour of your lave and start of flowers are look good buddy if its green its very keen lol keep u your good work friend :bigjoint:
