you should be able to find blackstrap in your grocery store.

You can get mylar from nurseries, craft stores, etc. You may be able to get air tight glass containers cheap from craft stores too, sometimes they're used for holding candles, etc.

You have to get a feel for the weight of your pots, when the surface and an 1inch below are dry and right after you water. Make sure the pots and soil have good drainage, if they don't you'll be more prone to root problems.

Thanks Dogg, I hope it turns out well 2. Flushed the plant today, even though it didn't need watering, didn't have a choice. Will watch it closely, ideally I'd like to harvest when the soil had dried out but I don't know if I can wait that long, might have to harvest tomorrow.
