Regular seeds have a 50/50 chance of being female although you can adjust certain environmental factors to encourage female growth (less light, higher humidity, etc.). So when you get your 10 seeds you should germinate at least a couple because 5 out of 10 are probably going to be male...

sounds gross. Azamax soil drench will kill and prevent soil-born larvae. So will predatory nematodes.

I'm pretty sure that blackstrap is what you are supposed to use and is un-sulfured. If not, then definitely get some un-sulfured stuff.

I have some females that are about 6 weeks into flowering. 1 or 2 have started to show growth that either looks like a seed or a pollen sack. They are very small and inside the buds. They are in an isolated environment so I don't see how they could have been pollinated, but all the pics I see of...

Sorry to get off topic here, but I have a question about a local strain. I got some clones of summit County Sweet Skunk. They look awesome! I was just wondering if anyone has experience with this strain and how long it takes to flower.

You don't need too much for that size space. Maybe a 6" in-line fan (300 - 400 cfm) for exhaust hooked up to the carbon filter and one 6" or smaller in-line booster fan (100 - 200 cfm) for intake. Throw 2 tiny clip-on fans in there for circulation.
