Yeah I learned that the hard way. They bugs were tiny off-white specks. Some were light tan with red dots.

I took some bad advice and mixed dish soap, vinegar and alcohol and sprayed the leaves to get rid of bugs. The chemicals mixed with direct sunlight on the water drops burned the leaves

I'm also a new grower. But I know that white hairs growing is the first sign that your plant is a girl and yes those are preflowers. Increase the light period, decrease dark period. A safe bet would be to give at least 18 hours of light to keep it in vegetative growth phase.

What do you make of the crispy spots?

What do you mean by lay over?

My first girl is a few days from harvest and the lower leaves are yellowing and wilting. Should I leave them attached or pluck them?
