depends on the plant, if you have a tiny plant with 4 fan leaves than, all you will be doing is killing it, if it is a descent size plant, then trim some of the leaves off just the ones blocking light and lower leaves that are receiving little to no light. pics and setup description wold help...

this one is easy look on the back of the bag of dirt, or bottle of nutrients, it has the ingredients right there, bam! not that hard and if you have a problome with foxfarms and think it changed stop using it if you want, but i doubt that they did change it, and if they did probably for the better

lol its dirt it doesn't expire, just dont let it mold or get bugs

i put mine in a baggy(after its dry), tha put the baggy in a mason jar, keeps everything fresh, but make sure its dry or you will get moldy hash, or if you can just keep it in a bag in the fridge
