how much rain will cause bud rot?

Damn i just made a discovery with budrot... i had a massive bud under a skylight and i closed the skylight for 3 -4 weeks because of smell... the giant bud got a bit of budrot size of a finger inside, even though it's very dry and no rain!!! because of ambient humidity and no wind at all. fukkk...

how much rain will cause bud rot?

Didn't get any precise answers here. it depends how long buds stay wet for. apparently the mould likes to be between 10 and 20 degrees, and the plant's defenses get way down below 15 degs (figure 0 is freezing)... What you want is for the rain to clear every 5-10 hours and plenty of wind to...

Does Rain Lower the Potency of Marijuana?

I just read this a bunch of times on different pages... have to say... it depends on the hardness of the rain and the temperature. if it is colder the trchomes are more snappy. if it's warm the triches are more bendy. also it depends on windspeed. straight down rain is obviously less violent...

Picking off yellow and dead leaves

So there is some contreversy on picking off dead leaves if they are still full of water. What does the plant do with the leaf when it is getting the nitrogen and the pigments out of the leaves? The leaf is useful to the plant until it is all yellow. The plant doesn't think: "This leaf is crappy...

    SUPER AUTO seeds (flash seeds)

flash seeds has a facebook page https://www.facebook.com/#!/breeder.stitch... it has tons of photos. i can confirm that the plants grow for 120 days instead of 70 80, and they have a stalk thicker than my thumb, and 100-200 grams on them. they are same as 5 huge autos, 5 feet tall, they have...

Clay soil - Make mini well boreholes with drill extensions?

it's managed woodlands on clay, they chop giant squares in it that get grow back with 2 meters high scrublands of lush green brambles and trees and in summer it goes arid if there isnt 6 inches of mulch to cover it. Even in giant rainstorms it's never marshland. it's like jungle, it grows heavy...

Clay soil - Make mini well boreholes with drill extensions?

Ya i live in oxford, alabama, :D you checked out the size of the drill, it's like half an inch, so i drill some holes 1 meter deep and 1/2 an inch wide, it will help with taproots in clay. for 20 dollar it's worth a try! i studied pedology too :p i should know! you can get some weed in canopies...

Clay soil - Make mini well boreholes with drill extensions?

i have some drill bit extensions and i want to drill small deep holes in the clay under where the plants will be, like 1 meter deep. i think that there is water all year round deeper than 50 cm, and 1 meter deep there will be lots of water under the plant to keep them unsupervised all summer...

Oh right! i meant hydroponics with sandy soil for a medium! like i mean constantly flowing water on a slope, with rocks underneath, that's why it's constantly running...

outdoor hydroponics in a river gulley, hints please.

I have to water it, it's baking here and it's in full sun on a south facing thing, they'll need a litre a day at least. it's in sand so a plant that's well watered in that spot would be dead in 10 days in the heat of summer.

outdoor hydroponics in a river gulley, hints please.

Hi everyone, I have found a place with a limitless supply of running water, some cliffs around it, all day sun, some soil, and i am questioning myself about the best setup for outdoor hydroponics.... I can have 3-4 meters of water pressure and a bunch of drippers that drip water all day long...

    Storing Pollen

freezer freeze dries stuff because colder air holds less water, that's why cold ground makes dew. it exits the cold air onto the ground. probably keep it sealed in vial so that water from other stuff in freezer doesnt go near pollen. dessicant or recently heated dry rice will absorb all the...

    18 Hour Light Cycle

Early studies in tomato showed that growth improved on light/dark cycles of 24 h rather than short (6 h light/6 h dark) or long (24 h light/24 h dark) cycles or continuous light (Withrow and Withrow, 1949; Highkin and Hanson, 1954;Hillman, 1956), although this work only indirectly implicates the...

    18 Hour Light Cycle

While plants do most of their growing during the night cycle and produces most of its sugars during the light I don't know what to think. Sounds abit like nonsense because... if you look at a seedling, it's leaves grow in the day, rather than at night. interesting theory however, i expect...
