    I was born in Alberta and left very shortly thereafter, and I am yet to return even for a short visit. I hope they don't screw the place up irrevocably before I get the chance.

    They usually only hold power for a few hours, discharging those batteries to meet peak evening demand when people are home and using power but the sun is already setting.
