soo i was wondering if you can grow in those little soil tray things, like on pineapple express? you know those little trays with like 3498384923 circles full of soil? and if you can about how much will grow?

alrighttyyy, so i was just wondering if you could use those soil tray things to grow? you know where there is like A TONNN of little circles filled with soil then you just like plant the seed? can you do that with weed? i know i'm getting a florescent light or whatever but i just don't know...
