This was some good information man. That link was very informative. Many people, myself included, see burnt tips and back off the nutes thinking the plant is getting burned, further exacerbating the issue. That’s what I’ve always read anyway.
The color change with the lower temps makes perfect sense, thanks for that. I didnt think the color change would be this dramatic, but now I have 2 people agreeing thats what it is, I concur!
It doesn’t really bother me in that sense, it just seems abnormal. I grew in this same room last winter and didn’t see this issue so I assumed something is wrong
I couldn’t find how to edit my last reply, I used jacks plug formula through the entire veg stage, I’ve done this in the past with quite a few other grows and had excellent results. I decided to give the jacks a try as before I used dynabloom when I flipped to flower and was looking to try...
well yes I did consider that, but keep in mind I just had another plant in soil do the very similar thing. That was grown entirely organic. I harvested it last week a little early because I feared the purple leaf syndrome would only get worse on it too.
The last time I added epsom salts to a...
This will be lengthy but I’ll give as much information as possible to help with a diagnosis.
There is a sticky thread to take pics with the lights off, but unfortunately for me I took these pics before I read that and I’m now at work, plus the 2 week old picture has already been taken back then...
I sprinkled mykos in the transplant hole. I actually have not even given it its first water yet. The medium is still moist according to my meter. I slightly watered it in when I did the transplant from the solo cup. But it’s headed toward the dry side
ill just water it normally this time around
Hey stoner crew,
I’m growing some granddaddy purples from ILGM in happy frog soil. They are about 2 weeks and a couple days old now. I don’t want to burn them up but I also don’t want to under do it either.
Would it be a good idea to top dress something in here? Or nah
i read elsewhere that...
Rkymtnman, I only ended up with about 3 leaves like that and the problem seemed to have abruptly halted thank God.
but I did sense that I may have overshot it when I added the mag-pro, so the next morning I removed some water and replaced it with PHd tap water to dilute it. Something tells me...
I’m not going to use it again either.
one thing I am going to use again in the veg state is Jacks 13-2-13. I got several bags of this dry fertilizer for free as it was included with the hydro kits I bought on sale. Just for giggles I mixed up 1 tsp per gallon and dissolved it in several hydro...
I’ve only used the Dyna gro pro tekt which is silica, foliage pro while in veg and then the bloom as soon as they started to show signs of flower. I’ve added very lightly the mag pro which says it’s high in phosphorus, magnesium and sulfur (2-15-4). I’ve been a bit concerned about adding any more.
