    The bends/creases in the foil do not reflect light uniformly. I doubt its an urgent problem, but every little bit of efficiency helps.

    It is important to keep leaves moving because they use up the CO2 immediately around them, if the leaves are moving it brings in more CO2.

    Tin foil is a bad idea, it creates heat spots, you could paint the inside white (spray paint). Good luck.
