lol, I said a "few feet". (Just so the bastards don't tip over). Its only extra work, has nothing to do with concealment- I shouldn't have even mentioned it. As for the solar panels, I was thinking long term, but I looked into the cost of 2nd hand panels and even that is too much. But why...

I'ma be moving soon, to an area with a lot of open forest around me. Very open... Next summer I'd like to use some of that open area to grow some herbs- partly b/c itll be good exercise and fun, but mostly b/c I'll be supplying myself. I know very little about growing, but I learn quickly...
