If you vent the room ACs an dehuys are a waste of money. you be better off running two smaller dehuys so when one defrosts the other can keep the rh stable I run one in the grow room an one in my lung room. Plus i have never seen one defrost with temps above 70?
Got some support in for the crippy A couple got blown over with a small storm the other night. Very spiny stems not looking good for harsh Maine weather
Thats the deal, I have a 20 x 30 hoop that gets covered on top with plenty of big ass fans blowing 24-7 its not enough to keep bud rot at bay with 65-70 dewpoints.
Iam just tired of fighting mother nature just to have a bon fire. We will see how the crippy does i have very little hope on those at this point if they are not deep into flower by late august those go to the burnpit also.
Ya the buds are thick an fat but this weather here is not normal tons of rain an hi RH, They still had at least 2 more weeks to finish up no way that wasnt going to happen. Same thing that happens in the fall last few yrs just cant get them to the finish line even with a covered hoop with lots...
Its the frickin fog an high RH all summer sucks I grew in the swamps for 20 yrs never got budrot or pm. About 2015 something changed in the weather way more humid with heavy morning dews all summer iam looking mid upper 90s dew points in the 70s next 3 days walk outside iam dripping in minutes.
Well bud rot has taken over the ISS with dew points in the upper 60s low 70s nothing a grower can do. So glad i didnt go full bore on the light depo I have come to the conclusion that growing market quality bud here in maine outdoor is no longer possible because of weather we now get. My last yr...
Iam going to wait till late august to see how far into flower they are before covering them Iam done trying to run plants until mid -late oct, if not deep into flower by the end of aug they are going into the burn pit. But i do plan to hit them with some early Iranian pollen at some point.
